Really can`t praise this place enough! fantastic breakfast, comfortable room, tea/coffee in room ,very clean. Location is superb, we were here for rugby weekend , standards maintained to a high level. Brilliant bar at end of road `Kiely`s`, restaurants close by to suit all budgets. We walked to St .Stephens green from here, and drove out to Wicklow mountains another day all easily accessable. The staff are very friendly ,helpful and live up to all expectations of Irish hospitality.

Room Tip: we stayed in a room outside on ground floor was great can`t comment on others but heard no complaint...

We picked Donnybrook Hall because of the good reviews it got and the rates are quite reasonable. It was quiet and clean and the staff were quite friendly and helpful. It is well out of town so it is best to to purchase a bus pass if you dont have a car as they will not give change on the busses. We had early excursions and the staff were helpful and booked taxis for us as the busses were not running very early in the morning.

Just a word of warning if you stay at Donnybrook Hall that we had our passports stolen from here. We also dont recommend Insure and Go as they have given poor service and seem to be endlessly delaying our claim.

Donnybrook Hall Hotel definitely has the WOW factor! Outstanding value. A lovely house offering home from home comforts all round and our breakfast was excellent. We were made to feel most welcome and have absolutely no hesitation at all in thoroughly recommending this guesthouse.

Room Tip: Room No. 3 is excellent. Very spacious - 2 double beds, tea making facilities, WIFI,T.V. bed linen...

I have just spent a month in the guest house and i can say that it was a far more friendly experience than some of the business hotels i have stayed in around the world, Terry and all the staff make you feel extremely welcome from the minute you arrive to the minute that you leave, nothing is too much for them, they helped me out with travel arrangements and getting around, breakfast was excellent and the rooms extremely clean and well kept, I have recommended the guesthouse internally at works as a great place to stay and too get into the Irish way

This place is a small B&B but has loveley hosts who look after you in any regard. We has room number 7 which was nicely decorated, to the backside and very clean. The connection to the city center via bus is easy to find and very quick. Taxi is also acceptable for around 10€. The breakfast was great and had nice choices, freshly prepared. Nice stay, Thank you!

Great B&B! The house is just adorable! The common room has a great electric fire place that gives the B&B a very homey feel! The room we stayed in was on the smaller side but was filled with a huge bed! Everything was very clean and great. Terry made us a great breakfast in the morning and was very accommodating when it came to my vegetarian diet and he even gave us fabulous tips on where to continue our journey in Ireland.
The B&B is realistically speaking about a 45 minute walk from the city center- but there are busses that go very often from around the corner.
The next time we're in Dublin we will make sure to go back! Great value and lovely rooms!

When you travel this far, you want a place that feels like home. Donnybrook Hall was pretty close. Terry, the host, was accommodating and helpful. Whether it involved calling a taxi at the wee hours of the morning, so we could catch a tour bus, or packing sandwiches to take when we left, he was on the ball.
In addition to plenty of useful suggestions offered by Terry and his staff, breakfast was always a pleasure. From the full Irish to specialties like Eggs Benedict or pancakes, everything was tasty and fresh.
The room was clean and spacious. I relief considering we were 3 in the room. The bathroom, clean. The only catch, a finicky shower knob that took some getting used to. If you don't want to get scalded, make sure you get a lesson if it is an unfamiliar set up.
We loved staying here, and would definitely go again if we end up in the same part of Dublin.

Room Tip: It's a bit of a climb to the higher rooms, but they are quieter than down below. A quick walk ou...
