I booked the room a few days before I arrived in Dublin for 50 euros including breakfast. Very hospitable staff, good choice of breakfast in the morning with good coffee. Easy access into city on the bus and straight to airport for eight euros. Only downside was not having my own bathroom and shower was rather temperamental. No complaints, will go back if I'm in the city again.

We had a family room at the Donneybrook as we were two couples travelling Ireland. Our room was small, but adequate. The staff were very friendly and helpful and Terry made sure that we had answers to all our travel questions. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choices. We could easily walk to the centre of Dublin (about 20-25 min.) or take a nearby local bus to those sites farther away. There were lots of choices for eating nearby and we especially enjoyed the nearby pub for their Irish stew and also the tapas restaurant. Terry can help direct you to both, We would stay here again!

My brother and I stayed at Donnybrook for a night when were in Dublin. We were greeted by Glen, who was very friendly and helpful - in fact, the service throughout our stay was exemplary. The staff are very knowledgeable and were able to give us many travel tips.

The room was comfortable and Terry made us a very nice breakfast in the morning - overall, excellent hospitality.

Donnybrook Hall was an exceptional Bed & Breakfast. A short bus ride away from Dublin City Centre. Terry and his staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast consisted of numerous choices, cooked to order. The room was clean and bright and very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

I stayed for three nights at Donnybrook. It far exceeded my expectations. My room was clean and very comfortable with all the amenities one would expect for a hotel. Terry and his staff went above and beyond to make sure i was comfortable. The made to order breakfasts were the highlight of my stay. Donnybrook is located in a very convenient and safe area. I had no problem taking the bus, which stops just a short walking distance up on the corner, into the city. I highly recommend Donnybrook hall for anyone planning a trip into Dublin.

We were warmly welcomed by Precious, a friendly and helpful young woman, who showed us to our room - a delighful little cabin at the bottom of the garden - and explained carefully how things worked and what to expect. She helped us get the car parked on the street, and oriented us to the neighbourhood. We really appreciated her warmth, lovely smile, and ready laugh. We met the owner, Terry, the next morning, who also welcomed us and helped us with suggestions and plans for visiting the city. Donnybrook Hall is ideally located on a quiet street, near the city centre and on a convenient bus route. Delicious breakfast. We appreciated being able to put a few things in the fridge. Room was clean and comfortable. Had to go into the main house to access the wifi.
