“Good Tour but GREAT Guide”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2013

I went on the tour not knowing what to expect but ended up loving the experience.

The guide and owner of the tour company, Lorcan Collins is informative, interesting and humorous. Lorcan will give you horn book information about the 1916 Uprising as well as tidbits of local insight and lore over the 2 to 2.5 hour tour.

If you have interest regarding the Irish Catholic struggles for human rights then the tour is a must do during your trip to Dublin. If you do not have interest in the struggles then you will nevertheless enjoy the tour based upon Lorcan's wit and humor.

This tour is a "big thumbs up"!

“Amazing Tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2013

This has been one of the high points of my current trip to Dublin. Locran makes the tour easy to understand whether you are a "history buff" or know nothing on the subject. His ability to relate the Rising to other events really makes this tour worth while. Even in the cold Dublin weather, I would do it again in a heart beat.

“One of the high points of our visit to Dublin.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 30, 2013

I learned a ton of fascinating stuff while being shown around one of the coolest parts of one of the sweetest cities I've ever been too. I knew embarrassingly little about Irish history before this tour and this was the perfect way to change that. Lorcan is the man.

“Rebellion Walking Tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2013

A school class from Denmark went on the Walking Tour and teachers and students fully enjoyed themselves. Our guide Lorgan proved to be extremely competent! The tour was informative and funny at the same time! I can only recommend this Rebellion to other school classes - and to people who are interested in Irish history.

“St Patrick's Day weekend tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2013

Lorcan - who took the tour - is a fantastic raconteur and would do well in stand-up comedy. Nice fella as well. For English people, it's a great way of seeing Dublin through different eyes. I had been on the tour once before and this time came with my family. One suggestion to make the tour still better would be to more closely relate the physical streets and buildings we see on the tour to how the fighting panned out.
