“Clean and comfortable ”

Stayed here for two nights whilst visiting Dublin. A fair walk to the centre (up to an hour) from here but not bad if you plan on stopping off at the bars and shops on the way down. Frequent buses to town from just outside. €2.70 for adults. There is also a nearby tram stop but we didn't bother with this. Very close to Tesco Aldi and Lidl supermarkets in Rathmines only 15 minutes walk away.
Rathmines is a lovely suburb of Dublin with a small town centre and plenty of restaurants, take seats, cafes and bars.
The apartment was immaculately clean, very modern and well equipped for anyone to move in permanently. There's even a washer-dryer including washing tablets.
When we arrived we had been provided with eggs, milk bread, butter, biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar which was a nice touch so no need to rush out for anything if you arrived a little hungry.
The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom has both a shower and a bath.
Although the apartment is on a main road it is a very quiet area. We were not disturbed by people leaving pubs throughout the night. We were able to enjoy a very peaceful break.

“Excellent Acomodations”

I spent 3 days here while visiting Dublin before my return flight home.

This is a second floor apartment over an Apothicary Shop. The manager works in the Apothicary Shop.

I was greeted with a stock of tea, cookies, bread, & butter. This was far more than I expected and a very nice touch.

The apartment must have been updated in the last couple of years because everything was close to perfect. It is more than adequate for one or two people, and far more room than in a hotel.

The kitchen was well appointed, and I made an Irish breakfast for myself every morning. There was a grocery right next to the Apothicary so stocking the apartment was very easy.

It is about 2.3 miles from Trinity College, which is a 45 minute walk, or 15 minute bus ride. I enjoyed walking.

I highly recommend this apartment.

“Everything was perfect!”
Reviewed April 21, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Thank you Elaine for such a warm welcome.

Walking in and seeing a welcome pack was such a nice touch, after travelling all day it was lovely just to sit and have a cuppa. We didn't have to worry about going Tesco's straight away.
It's in a perfect location with the bus stop just up the road with a number of different busses that take you into Dublin.
The apartment looks newly renovated to a high standard, very modern with everything you need.
We have had a number of people ask where to stay, I will certainly be giving them the details for this apartment. Thanks again, we will defiantly be looking to book again, hopefully for longer next time.

Really enjoyed our visit to Dublin over St Patrick's holiday. A very warm welcome from Elaine and almost everything you could imagine needing on your first night. Shops on your doorstep and a great pub (Ma Riley's) down the road. For the active only a 25 min walk to the city centre or a cheap bus ride. Dublin was a wonderful city to explore. The apartment was recently refurbished and exceeded our expectations. Top tip for visitors planning to visit the Guinness Brewery or Jamesons Distillery is to book the day before as the tours sell out.

“Close to city centre budget accomodation”

Great accomodation for people travelling with a low budget. Relatively close to city centre. Nice Staff. Tesco is literally seconds away, just next door. It's a bit small and worn out but it's absolutely worth staying there for the price, the staff, proximity to city centre, bus shuttles and it felt safe walking in the neighbourhood at night.

I would recomend this place to people who want a cheap place to stay and don't have too high standards. Good for young people who don't really care, as long as they have a bed, a kitchen and a bathroom. I really enjoyed staying there. Thank you!
