This is a great place to stay in Dublin....it's a few blocks walk from St Stephens Green and about a 15-20 min walk to the centre.

The staff is nice and the breakfast is superb! The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was about the same size as the bedroom so it's sizable and accommodating.

We got great advice to visit the Leeson Lounge across the street and it was our favorite pub throughout the trip. They don't serve food, but have a great pint of Guinness, live music, and a great atmosphere. Convenient to the Guesthouse, too.

Only issue we had was a misunderstanding about our room bookings. My friend had to book one double room and a single room due to non-availability of a triple. She ended up with the executive suite, which was nice, but was still charged for both rooms. She inquired about the cost upon check-out and, come to find out, one double room was vacant our entire stay with her name on it! We were never told about another room for her, only the executive suite. My room was a double but I was marked as a "no show".

They were very gracious and apologetic about the mishap and refunded my friend 100 euro. But she'd have preferred to have her own room/bathroom and not share with her two teenagers!

Regardless, I'd stay again!

We stayed for one night as we were going to the Eels concert. Only booked the room that day, (last one available). Spoke with the owner on the phone and he sent us directions vy e-mail with a map for the car park which is at the rear of the building. The car was very secure and we were allowed leave it for a few extra hours the following day to have a look around the shops (for no extra charge). Very nice gesture. We had a double room which was fine, it wasn't huge but it was spotless with everything you would want.It faced onto leeson street but there was no noise as the windows were fitted with soundproof glass. Breakfast was self service and there was a very good variety of food and lots of it. I would stay again.

Following some confusion with the booking, the staff at the guesthouse were fantastic and even upgraded us to free breakfast. On arrival we were made to feel so welcome from the moment we walked through the door, we were given a map and loads of recommendations on what to do with our time in Dublin. The guesthouse was in a great location, a short walk from St Stephens Green and Grafton Street and right next to the Aircoach stop! We had a room with a sauna and jacuzzi which we weren't expecting so was a lovely surprise! The room was perfect for our requirements, the beds were comfortable and the room was a good size. I would definitely recommend Leeson Bridge to anyone staying in Dubin.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it was wonderful. The staff was the best ever, the location facilitated our walking to every point of the city, you don´t need to get a taxi. If we would back to Dublin I’m ensure we would stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: Excelent location, you can walk to city center, room is very cleaned and silent, wireless free, a lo...

My family had the room overlooking the canal with huge well-sealed windows on two sides, a sauna, a jacuzzi and an added cot for the fourth person. Wow!
Happy and responsive staff anticipated our every need; and the St.Patrick's Day full Irish breakfast was terrific!
Our only complaint is having only one night available, but we will be back!

Room Tip: Ask for 129!

As other people have said this guest house is in a great spot and the staff are indeed very friendly. It's nice to see them all with a smile and obviously happy to have a job. However despite having stayed here before and the fact that the manager knew this, we were put into what can only be described as a box room (room 126) . It would have been small for one person but ridiculous for two. There was just enough room to squeeze round the bed. The wardrobe was a corner of the room closed off and we had to hand our clothes in the bathroom. So avoid this room at all costs !!!

Room Tip: Avoid room 126 unless you want to feel like living in a box

Our visit to Ireland was as fabulous as expected! The Guesthouse location was terrific. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room had the sauna and Jacuzzi which added a twist to our two night stay .... I don't think I can write enough to say how pleased we were with our stay. If you are planning a trip to Ireland .. particularly Dublin, I'd recommend the Leeson Bridge Guesthouse .. Thank you

Room Tip: Our room was onto the Canal and road that ran alongside... If you are a light sleeper and go to bed...
