I say that because it's not "right" at the airport but really it's less than 10 minutes away AND this hotel has a very convient shuttle. And it's definately not right in Dublin, but the bus stop is a block away, cost is 1.8 euros one way (or you could buy a card thing if you are there longer) the bus takes you right into town and no parking worries. The hotel was very clean, very nice staff (minus one girl in the afternoon shift, who when I asked to see a preview copy of my bill, haughtily did so, but it only has the room price and no taxes, etc.)
Otherwise the gentleman who was on the desk both early mornings that I was there, was really nice. The rest of the desk people were really nice. My family especially enjoy Sean, one the shuttle drivers, he was terrific (and an apology that we didn't leave you a tip as we had intended to on the morning we left)
We had a family room, king bed and 2 pull out sofas (twin size) tv was a bit small, not too many channels but that was okay.
Things I didn't like: the bathroom, so tiny and you have to be careful when you step out of the tub not to step on the doorstop, plus the shower was awkward as well, you almost had to stand sideways in the shower because it was so narrow. I also really didn't like the fact that you have to pay for internet service in your room. Come on now, that is ridiculous.

I've stayed in this hotel frequently during 2009 and 2010 as a business traveller, we get a corporate rate which thankfully includes breakfast and free internet. Otherwise these are quite pricey. The breakfast is probably the highlight of the stay for me, great choice, always well prepared, fresh, friendly staff etc. No complaints. Dinner can be a different matter. The menu didn't change for a year which was very boring for the frequent visitor! However on the plus side, the chefs can offer flexibility so its possible to "adapt" the dinner menu items to change things around. Avoid the Burnell burger - it's horrible. Anyway, probably a very standard menu - steaks, pasta, some specials etc. The bedrooms can be noisy - this is because the hotel is on a busy junction and because it's near the airport. I always pick an odd-numbered room because this faces away from the road. The showers in the bathrooms are "weak", not great. The gym is open 24x7 and is small, basic, fulfills a need but nothing to get excited about. The hotel is right next to a large Tesco and other shops (Clairehall) which is a plus, if you need to shop, but otherwise it's a fairly "dodgy area" - do not wander around after dark if you don't know where you're going or if you look too much like a tourist. The staff will give lifts to Malahide - about 10 mins down the road - there are loads of great restaurents and bars (pubs) there which make a nice change, they'll pick you up also. There is a nice chinese restaurent in the same block as the Hilton, also worth a visit for a change of scene. The staff are on the whole very polite and attentive; English is sometimes a limitation - they don't understand how to make a pint of "orange and lemonade" ... when the bar is busy, it can take a while to get someone's attention, but the food generally comes along very quickly once ordered. On the whole, an OK hotel, nothing out of this world apart from the breakfasts!

Stayed here prior to heading out from Dublin airport. Would highly recommend. Anne Marie at reception stands out for being so helpful.

Took the shuttle at 5.00 am with no problems (booked the night before)............coffee was served at reception prior to heading. On arrival at the airport was waiting a while for the shuttle to come and collect but no complaints otherwise.

Bar food the night before was good.

Overall, would definitely recommend to anyone flying from Dublin who needs somewhere to stay over the night before.

Stayed at the Hilton Dublin Airport this past weekend before flying back to the States. Hotel is about 3 or so miles from the airport. It was quite confusing to me at the airport trying to find the shuttle, there is an area for the Clarion and Radisson, but that is not for any other hotel shuttle. You have to leave the terminal and walk through the parking garage over to a bus area. It is past the church on the airport , if that helps anyone. The shuttle is supposed to run every 45 minutes, but I waited well over an hour at the aiport for the shuttle even though one ot those waiting had called. Hotel itself if pretty typical Hilton. Nice rooms, nice amenities. Bathroom was small but fine. Other than the shuttle, staff were helpful. In room internet for 20 Euros a day. Ate dinner in the restaurant; it was fine but not great. There is a large shopping complex across the street, but many of the stores are closed, I suppose due to the economy. There is a large Tesco, combo supermarket and department store. There is also a bus stop there which you can catch a Dublin bus to the city center for 1.80 Euros, about 20 minutes. Easy way to downtown and back. Would stay here again, but they need better shuttle service.

Stayed here for one night before our flight was leaving Dublin the next morning.

The shuttle does not run frequently - every 45 minutes - so you need to reserve a spot on the shuttle (not what you would consider an airport hotel shuttle).

The bar served decent pub food but the service was awful - it was slow (not enough wait staff given the size of the bar and the number of patrons).

The room was a decent size - nice bathroom. But it was noisy since the doors to the rooms slam hard and you could hear the hallway doors slamming all night.

Not much in the area - it is a modern neighborhood with a large mall across the street.

Internet access is not free unless you are a higher level of the Hilton Honors program.

Do not be misled by the name of the hotel. It is no where near the airport, We were driving and it took us almost an hour to find the hotel from the airport. There are no signs at or near the airport for this hotel, unlike the other airport hotels nearby. The street address indicated on the web site is not recognized by either GPS or the taxi drivers. We were sent in all different directions. Ultimately we spotted their shuttle bus, and followed it. It is a good 10 miles away from the airport. We found it easier to get to the Dublin downtown Hilton than to this one.

And of course, they have the gall and temerity to charge 20 euros for 24 hrs of internet! Shame on Hilton! And no free parking for a supposedly 'airport' hotel.
