We have just visited Dublin for two nights and on our first night popped here for a quick drink at around 7pm. We left at 1.30am after what was the best night I have had for a long time and on a Sunday night. There were two sets of music both excellent. The second set really got the crowd going with traditional Irish songs and lots of banter. Ok the drinks are VERY steep but to be honest by the end we were having such a good time and were pretty drunk we didn't care. Everybody was just out to have a good time and singing dancing and chatting to strangers. Great night but not so great following morning!

Several locals and the door at the Marker reco Oliver St. John G. for a saturday night music and food stop. Although crowded and at times loud- the reason of course- the music and entertainment was pure Ireland. Great folk singing (requests were many), beers and a wonderful Irish Stew was had. So if you have and hour or two, this is a stop that you should enjoy.

Really enjoyed it here, great atmosphere. Singers were really good and fun. Everyone happy in here and singing and dancing. Staff lovely too. Reasonably priced considering its on Temple Bar, approx 5 euros for a pint of Guinness. Defo worth a visit!!

This is the best music venue in Dublin-no arguments!! If you want traditional Irish music look no further. You don't get the so called Irish pub music at 100 mph but proper professional musicians that have got the experience to deliver 3 hours of fantastic music with no sheet music coupled with the Irish wit. All this and a great place with drinks served at your table by pleasant staff, lovely food and Guinness at reasonable prices. It's a wonderful place to meet people from all over the world who have one thing in common-the love of Irish music as it should be played. Back in October for another fix!!

If you are looking for live music in Dublin, check out this pub! The music was fantastic! However, it is extremely crowded. Don't expect to find a seat!
