We were looking for reasonable accomodation in DUBLIN fora family of 5 - for 7 days 3 adult children and the THE CHRIST CHURCH HALL fit the specs .
our apartment was clean , and everything worked like it was suppossed to
Hot water for 5 showers in a row was plentiful

We were expecting less and received more,
Towels were changed mid week , the washer dryer unit came in handy on several occasions
kitchen was excellent for the feeling at home- and being able to
have a cup of tea or coffee and a bowl of cereal- and I suppose making a meal if you were so inclined all the tools were available

reception desk staff were always pleasant and hel;pful
this is not a hotel, so we were not expecting any hotel services, but were pleasantly suprised -when a wake up call was offered for a early morning outting
Excellent location walking distance to all the attractions pubs and restaurants
we would stay here again - was an excellent intro into APARTMENT EXPERIENCE - AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT
only negative - the building to the rear of the apartment
is being renovated so noise starts about 9 am

Good sized newly refurbished apartment - we had booked a 1 bed but were given a 2 bed apartment, very large and would have been very comfortable for 4 people (only 2 of us). Excellent value for Dublin. Well situated and within easy walking distance of most sights. Delightful medieval church opposite (St Audoen's) which is well worth a visit.

Quite a bit of road noise so might be an idea to take ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. First impressions were that the place was a bit chaotic - receptionist not sure whether rooms were ready (this was at 3pm) and not able to get hold of cleaning staff to find out, was having to run up and down stairs to see. She was a bit grumpy but to be honest I would be too in this situation.

Once in the apartment it was okay. Kitchen was stocked to a pretty basic level (no dishwasher despite what it says on the web). I wasn't exactly sure about the cleanliness - the floor was very sticky although the bed was clean and comfortable.

The high points for me were the very convenient location, the excellent price and the views from the windows. I'd def suggest asking for a top floor apartment if possible.

Down point was the bathroom. Water in the shower was a trickle at best and this was a real problem in the morning when the water was scalding hot and there wasn't sufficient cold water coming through to cool it down. I would really be wary about anyone with young kids about coming here, the water was absolutely blistering hot. And the bathroom was tired and old as well.

just returned from a three day break at christchurch hall apartments. accommodation clean and modern, recently refurbised, plenty of wardrobe space (although a tight squeeze around the bed to get to the window). kitchen and living room lovely and handy iron provided. bathroom doesn't appear to have been refurbished yet and shower was a bit difficult to use as it was a little wonky but hot water plentiful and sufficient towels. hairdryer provided on request. balcony overlooking busy high street - a great place to people watch but inevitably noisy with traffic. check in good and the apartments felt secure - you need to buzz in from the outside and a free safety deposit box in rooms. situated in the medieval district of dublin, near to the beautiful christchurch cathedral. all in all, a good choice of apartments, reasonably priced and in a good location.

perfect for families with young kids, within walking distance of many attractions and never difficult to find some great places to eat, will definitely stay again, only niggles would be traffic noise (got used to it quite quickly) and a wonky door handle

We stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of May and I have to admit we were a little worried after reading the reviews!

The apartment they gave us was nicely kitted out - as per the photos on the web site and they'd even given us a 2 bedroom apartment instead of a 1 that we'd requested which was a nice bonus.

The only criticism was the wifi, it was a bit flaky in our room (13) as the signal wasn't quite strong enough.

Would definitely stay there again!

Just back from Christchurch Halls on a hen weekend with 8 girls, and the accommodation was fantastic.
We arrived at Christchurch at 10.30am on Saturday morning, the receptionist was foreign and not all that cheerful if I'm honest, but never the less she allowed us to leave our bags in reception (which she assured us was manned all day) until our room was ready at 2pm. It would have been better if there was a secure hold room for the bags, as this would be better...however, at present there isn't - so hey ho.
When we returned shortly after 2pm, we were each given a key (we had booked 2 rooms) and headed upstairs in the lift. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a clean, modern apartment. Comfortably sleeping 4, with pull out sofa bed and extra linen in the living room. The rooms are furnished to a very high standard and have everything you would need for a short, or a long break for that matter. Dishes (which you are required to wash on leaving to avoid a 25 euro charge) an iron, ironing board, towels, glasses and all cooking appliances and fridge-freezer. There is a gorgeous dining table with leather chairs that would be perfect to sit down and eat at if you planned to save extra euros by not venturing to restaurants. It was within walking distance to the Temple Bar area, which was very handy.
We were on a hen night, and as you can imagine were in very high spirits throughout the duration of our stay, and this was not opposed to by anyone, despite the noise we were making, no one complained. Not sure why this was, but it was an extra bonus that we didn't have to stifle our party at any point!
We were checking out at 11am on Monday morning, and again no-one chapped on our door or called the room to hurry us along which was nice, and made packing and getting ready to leave stress free.
Although when we got down to reception to hand the electronic key back (which if lost, will cost you 200 euro to replace - eek!) and check out the receptionist was nowhere to be seen, and despite ringing the bell several times and eventually having to call the main office, she appeared back 15 minutes later. No apology for keeping us waiting...nothing. So despite the receptionists, Christchurch Hall was great. I'll definitely be back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
