The views were truly breathtaking. We loved the adventures like riding e-bikes, riding horses, and watching the border collies herding sheep. Matt
was our group leader and he did an excellent job of giving us information about Ireland while driving. He worked overtime to ensure that everyone was happy.

We had an amazing driver (Danny). He was entertaining and fun. He also was flexible and took folks to places their ancestry was from when it was on the route. Small tours can get to places the big coaches cannot plus with a smaller group, you get to know people better and it takes less time getting on/off. We did the 6 day northern Ireland tour. Danny also set us up with an app where we could share photos with others in the group and message when we find something in the evening (like when we found good traditional Irish music in a pub that evening, we messaged and some folks joined us). It's much more personal with the smaller group as well.

As this was my first full tour booked with a company and solo also, I really had no idea what to expect. And…the entire experience did not disappoint. It was amazing!! I did the 7 day Driftwood Kingdoms and Castles tour. Damien was our driver and tour guide and he was a delightful person, so knowledgeable, patient, humorous, organized and kept all 15 of us well “in tow”!
Our group connected well right from the beginning and it was a wonderful 7 days full of so many incredible places to experience, great accommodations and of course food! We packed in a lot of things every day but still had time to shop and enjoy the moments.
I would definitely recommend Driftwood/Vagabond tours and would not hesitate to join another one in the future.

Our 11 day Driftwood Discover Ireland tour with Glen from Galway (with the nut brown curls) was everything we could have imagined and then some. We departed Dublin on August 22 and very quickly recognized that Glen was very engaged and passionate about his job. He knew how to read us it seems and just made each day so special. He kept us so entertained as we traveled from site to site. Always had answers to any questions and when we reached each destination for the night he advised us on things to do/see on our own. He always had restaurant recommendations etc.
We were so fortunate in that the weather seemed to cooperate so nicely also. I think we picked a very time of the year to travel.
As I sit and think about this amazing adventure I’m so grateful for the folks onboard and for Vagabond tours. It’s all very emotional still and I certainly felt the magic of Ireland and my Irish roots!!
I highly recommend Vagabond/Driftwood tours and their small group philosophies. This has been by far the best adventure my husband and I have experienced.
Everyone deserves a Vagabond tour of Ireland!! Get one booked!!
Again Glen was very special, he really completed the package.

My husband and I traveled with our driver Brian W. and some of the most wonderful people! Brian W. was extremely knowledgeable and was a good driver. We enjoyed an authentic sheep farm and meeting Bridget and Sam, the sheepdog. Horseback riding in Dingle was a dream for me and Dingle was one of our favorite places! The mussels and pubs were the best! The Skelligs were spectacular and our daily hikes were breathtaking. Learning about the ferocious O'Flaherty's from Giles was a trek into history worth every minute! Brian W. celebrated our birthdays with champagne and cake on top of a hill and it was a major surprise! Our favorite places to stay were in Abbeyglen Castle, the Spanish Point House, The Coachman, The Skelligs Hotel and Gougane Barra Hotel. The SPH had the best breakfast and Gougane Barra the best dinner! We had the most amazing time and I miss Brian W. & the friends we met on the trip. I think of them and the kind people of Ireland often. My husband and I recommend Vagabond to everyone and know you will have the trip of a lifetime too if you book with them! We left a piece of our hearts in Ireland & know we will be back soon!
