We arrived in Dublin on a very early flight from London and spent the better part of the day touring and walking about. Somehow we missed lunch and found ourselves in the vicinity of Bad Bobs for an early dinner. We hadn't made plans for dinner so in we walked.
A kind and pleasant waitress had us quickly seated and was provided drink/menu suggestions when we asked. The seats were comfortable and although it was lively in the bar we were able to relax and chat about the day.
I had chicken and my sister the fish and chips. She raved about these fish and chips for days and even brought home a picture to show the family. She declared them her best meal of the trip. The owner/manager popped by at one point to ask where we were from and we chatted a bit. He mentioned that the place had only been open a few weeks and we complemented him on the appearance of the place.
Things were running very smoothly and we had a great night. Would definately recommend to tourists or locals. Wasn't gimmicky and was a great place to hang out.
