Thanks to Tripadvisor, otherwise we would have never found this restaurant even-though we had dinner across the street just a few days before... The storefront appears to be a Regge store and just a coffee shop but once into the restaurant, wow what a great experience. We sat upstairs as it was more of a dinner atmosphere. The service was prompt and superb. We started with a fruit and shrimp/prawn salad and an eggplant Parmesan type appetizer and a bottle of Merlot. Then we had the spaghetti carbonara and the fettuccine (type) with Italian sausage with tomatoes. The portions were huge, hot and delicious. Fresh bread accompanied. They played a black and white Italian film on a wall that you could see from the 2nd floor. The food was prepared specifically for us as when we went downstairs to pay, we saw the chef making dinners in various pots/pans and each sauce made fresh to accompany each dinner.
Our bill was $68 Euro plus tip. We wanted to try the dessert special a "cannoli Italiano" but we were too full. A great meal right in the middle of Temple Bar area so look for it...on Crow Street.
Great food, great service, great value.
