The performance of the lion king was fantastic. The staff at the theatre were very helpful and friendly. The running of the theatre was very efficient. Would definitely return for another show.

“Nice enought theatre”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

My first visit here. We came to see the Lion King. I liked but didn’t love the show; it’s a matter of taste of course. Not far from the main entrance is grand canal dock which is a city recreational area with cyclists, joggers Segway tours, restaurant / bars with outdoor seating etc., making for and enjoyable bustling / people watching scenario. The immediate area outside the doors is paved and has some fairly recently built piece of arty looking architecture that appears to be falling into a state of disrepair. The theatre itself is a modern unremarkable building from the outside with pleasant looking but inefficiently utilised lobby space inside the main doors. Prices for snacks and soft drinks is exorbitant, I’d recommend that you take something with you when going. Inside the main auditorium everything is as it should be. Seating is comfortable and viewing is good and appears to be mostly unrestricted. I’d like to come back for a show that is more to my personal taste some time.

“Lion king at the theatre”
Reviewed June 15, 2013 via mobile

Unbelievable show. Absolutely enjoyed the visit. Bar staff very helpful, friendly and chatty. Only gripe 10 mins from the end an usher flashing a torch down the row to stop people taking photos.

“Lion King rules!”
Reviewed June 15, 2013

The Lion King is a fantastic show. There aren't really any tunes you walk away humming, but the impact of the show is phenomenal. We went to a matinee which was packed with children but that only added to the level of enjoyment and appreciation of the cast. The theatre itself is very new and very smart. This was our first time at this place and we shall return for other shows.
