Lovely food, reasonably priced and good service. The chicken wings are AMAZING. Portions are a good size Will return again.

“Fantastic experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2013

Went there last Saturday was very impressed with the food and service. Beef and Guinness pie was to die for with plenty of beef. The manager came over and had a chat with us he told us about their exciting new menu coming soon. All in all a most enjoyable experience well be back soon.

“Good service bad food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2013 via mobile

Went there with a deal voucher, food was not good : nachos were full of water as if they had been reheated in microwave oven and the grilled salmon I had for main tasted and looked like it had been cooked the day before. Disappointed given the price on the menu. Had it not been for the voucher deal I would not have accepted to be served that food. Only thing that saved the evening was the waiting staff very friendly and courteous. Venue is nice too. But I won't try to come again food was a real let down.

“Soup Divine”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 9, 2013

I'm not a soup person, especially vegetable soup. This was a creamy soup that was amazing. I went back for breakfast and the scone I got was massive and tasty! You really don't need anything else. They had a few specials as well. I loved the dance floor and smoke effects. If you go early enough, you have the floor to yourself. So for all you swing, salsa or ballroom dancers that like room to move, this is the place. The DJ has a wide variety of dance music and there is a live singer as well.

I wish they had one of these places near me!

“Very slow service, expensive food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2013

Went here for a meal on Saturday. Rang beforehand to book a table, but was told this was not possible for small groups. We had to wait in the bar area for almost 25 mins for a table. Once seated, the service was friendly, but slow. In fact, there did appear to be empty tables so I would say the kitchen was just not able for the level of customer orders and there was not enough waiting staff on.

We had starters and mains. The food was nice, not exceptional and certainly expensive for a suburb restaurant. Starters up to €8 and steak mains approx €25. The slow service really put us under pressure, all in, it took over 2 hours for 2 courses, with a lengthy delay between the starter and main course.

In fairness, the waiting staff were apologetic, but this level of slow service is not acceptable for these prices. Worth a visit when there is a special offer on, as The Arc often features on deal sites / high life, but avoid if you are paying full price or in a rush!
