“A right Irish atmosphere”
Reviewed October 19, 2012

Typical Irish atmosphere, just what we hoped to find. Live music and friendly staff-even to the point of slaggin me for ordering a lager tops.

“Great spot for a pint”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

I was staying at the B&B next door, and this became the spot I ate at while in the area. It was a great little spot, and everything I imagined a cosy Irish Pub to be. The staff were friendly and the food excellent. Worth staying for a pint or two and the whole atmosphere was great, even got sung to by a slightly inebriated local which made the experience that bit more Irish!

“One of the cutest pubs in Dublin!”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

You HAVE to go! A small pub with such huge Irish air inside - you are literary floating in the mood.
Very cordial staff - amazing guys.
The food is also very very tasty, there is live music every day from 9:30. Very unique and a must visit.

“What a find! Almost haute pub cuisine”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

After we found this place, we almost didn't want to find anyplace new! they are connected to a good restaurant and in the pub, you can order off either menu. They tout local, fresh foods, and it's evident in the variety of the menus--the next door restaurant changes its menu each day. The salmon, the couscous salad, the Irish stew, the cheeses ... we could go on and on! And the service, although not super-fast because they are almost always full, was terrific. The staff was fabulous and really made for a wonderful time. The Celt is our favorite, and we will likely select the same nearby B&B next time we visit (Anchor House) in part because they recommended The Celt!
