Ate here with a group of 10 a few weeks ago. Eating here with a group means you can pretty much try everything on the menu as they have sharing splatters. The quality of the food was amazing and there was a really nice friendly laid back atmosphere but with top notch food. Loved all of the dishes on the menu - starters mains and desserts!! There really is something for everyone. it was nice seeing the food prepared right in front of you. It was like having a chef come to your own kitchen! The service was great. Very friendly and prompt. Really recommend this place especially if going out in a group!

This small eatery, is by day a jewel in Ringsend, Sylvia makes the best coffee and Michaela's ginger, carrot, orange and beetroot smoothies are full of mouthwatering goodness. However all that changes by the evening time. Food Game becomes a small oasis and serves the most delicious "sharing" platters. Slow roasted lamb or pork belly are but two of the dishes. The best is the hake on a bed of winter greens. Prices are most acceptable, €8.00 to €10.00 per plate . If there are 5 or 6 of you, you can order 1 plate of everything on menu, plus a glass of wine and you will be well satiated for under €20.00 a head. Its fun to share tasters and then the next time that you return you might decide that you don't want to share with anyone! It is so good. Richard Gleeson is blazing a trail with his innovative dishes and attention to detail. Emilia is his assistant and deserves a mention for her continuing high standards. Check it out, only open from Wednesdays to Saturdays for dinner.

This cafe is really lovely. I've been here a few times for brunch and it is always excellent. Just tried it last Thursday dor the new dinner menu which although is a bit limited - it is lovely and great for shadings. Highly recommend.

Were filming at the Aviva Stadium and stumbled across this place (luckily as the first place we stopped at had stopped serving).
They only do a limited choice but I guarantee you won't care! The food we had was absolutely delicious and was prepared freshly for us.
The coffee was superb and the service a joy. Everyone was so helpful and really attentive (as well as putting up with the quirks of our group which included a vegetarian and a gluten free diet!!)
They also sell great produce AND it's amazing value.
Maybe I shouldn't share!!!

For a wonderful dining experience you must get in fast and try the new evening menu open on Wednesday Thursday and Friday only in this informal eatery.
But any informality of the location is overridden by the formality of  Richard's cooking, trained by Yotam Ottolenghi, he takes command of the kitchen and offers six exquisite  mains.
The object is to share, so as we were four we started with the rice tasters, and then ordered one each of the six mains and were blown away by the different and subtle flavours especially of the  Mackerel, Lamb, Aubergine and Pork. We found we had more than enough for 4 in six dishes. We  followed with three delicious desserts one of Pear and two of Almond Raspberry.
There is a choice of three red and three  white wines, well chosen and priced we went for the Sauvignon Blanc and Rioja.
Service is friendly and efficient where front of house is commanded by owner Ross.
Bill for four including 4 bottles  of wine €188 plus service.
A snip at the price, highly recommended. Keep us a table. We will be back.
