It’s right in the heart of the shopping area. The hotel decor is amazing. An extremely high standard. We stayed for two nights. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady manager, Irmela. The rest of the staff were amazing too - Fabriola, Olga and Alesander, to name but a few. The bedroom is very nice with a lovely bathroom. Really large walk in shower. There’s a very modern fridge in the room. It’s not stocked but great for your own supplies. There’s also a safe for your valuables. We didn’t experience the nightclub as our stay was Tuesday thru Thursday and the nightclub opens at the weekends. The food in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. There’s some great restaurants around the hotel too if you fancy a change. It’s really worth a visit.

Room tip: All good rooms.

This is by far the nicest hotel I have stayed in within Dublin.
The decor is amazing. It has one of the nicest bars in town and the night club is second to none. Bedrooms are to a very high standard and huge for a capital city.

We stayed for two nights in a superior family room with two bunk beds and a large king size. Two adults and two kids. The decor in the room and everywhere in the hotel was amazing, really special, the breakfast was one of the best we have had anywhere. The room was quiet for such a central location and the shower was massive. We ate in Bartley’s the first night, the food was great and chicken goujons were rustled up off menu for one of the kids when the excellent waitress overheard her having difficulty choosing.

The best thing was the hotel staff , everyone was so friendly and warm and couldn’t do enough for us. They were particularly kind to the two young guests in our party who at 8 and 9 were making the most of everything and enjoying the luxury surroundings!

We will definitely be back.

I got 99 problems but the Grafton ain’t one! The room was clean, beautiful, and located very close to major tourist destinations. The staff was friendly and helpful when my family checked in. The breakfast was the best thing on the trip, having all sorts of delicious foods to choose from! Breakfast is a bit pricey, but if you prebook your meal, the cost is reduced to €14 per adult, €7 for each child. Two thumbs up from me!

After researching hotels in Dublin for our first trip, we eventually decided on The Grafton. This hotel has recently been refurbished and wow they have done such a good job!

We chose to pay the extra money and book the Executive Junior Suite... it was definitely worth that little extra! We arrived at the hotel just after 9am after an early flight from Cardiff. We weren’t expecting to be able to check into our room but wanted to drop bags off. To our delight, the room was available straight away. Huge room, with huge bed, a sitting area and an outdoor terrace. Everything was so clean and tidy.

This hotel is very close to Grafton street and all the bars around are very high end. It is only a 5 minute walk to temple bar area, which we thoroughly enjoyed, with live Irish music playing from lunch time onwards in most pubs. It’s also a only 20minute walk to the Guinness storehouse.

The whole hotel has a 20’s Art Deco feel to it. The bar was a fabulous place to sit and have cocktails, as well as bar food / snacks. We also ate in Bartley’s restaurant... we booked online before arriving thinking that a Saturday maybe busy.. the online booking only showed a few slots and on confirmation email said they would need the 8pm table back by 9.15pm ( so we were glad we booked as thought it must be in demand for the Saturday) when we went into the restaurant there was us and one other table. Therefore, event though it was a lovely setting it lacked atmosphere... The food was great but steak was a little fatty.

We paid for breakfast for both days when we arrived- breakfast was fresh and a good selection of cold and hot options. Also good times - breakfast ran until 10.30am on weekdays and 11am on weekends, which meant we didn’t have to rush and could enjoy the comfy bed a little longer.

All the staff were amazing, pleasant and very welcoming. In fact everyone we met in Dublin from taxi drivers, airport staff, shop assistants, waitresses etc were all so friendly and kind.

Before leaving, we had a cake and hot chocolate from the patisserie bar in hotel reception and it was so delicious.

We didn’t want to leave... this was our first visit to Dublin but won’t be our last.

Don’t hesitate, book this hotel and treat yourself to the junior suite! I can’t recommend this hotel enough!
