We stayed for 2 nights and booked this hotel as it was the cheapest we found although still quite expensive for what it is.. The hotel is quite dated and the rooms are too. On check in we were upgraded to a larger family room, the room was spacious and 2 double beds. However, the bathroom door didn’t close properly or lock which dependant on who you are with, could be an issue. The iron and ironing board in the room was under the pitch in the roof so difficult to use for my husband. The coffee provided in the room also wasn’t great. The walls are quite thin so you will hear the noise from next door room, it woke me up one morning. However, there was plenty of storage/cupboard space and the room was spacious.. plenty of lighting and mirrors. I also found the bed comfortable.
The hotel is conveniently located near the Luas .. 5 min up the road which takes you into town (about 20 min).
Overall the hotel was ok, not great.. it was just somewhere for us to get our heads down so wouldn’t complain however, I do feel it was expensive for what it is. We didn’t use the health club facilities and didn’t eat at the hotel.. we chose to eat out for breakfast as it is cheaper in town, therefore can’t review these.
