“Comfortable traditional bar”
Reviewed November 28, 2013

Went in here after visiting Guinness Storehouse - for some peace and something to eat/drink. Storehouse was extremely busy so this was a great oasis nearby. The service was friendly, the Guinness very good and we both enjoyed the burger meal.

Free wifi as well. The place had good atmosphere even when quiet. Only when we got back to hotel did I notice they had charged for extra pint of Guinness! And I tipped as well. . . Ah well, guess it was just a double tap on the drinks tab by mistake.

“Best meal I had in Dublin”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

The place is warm and cozy and the fireplace is on. The seafood chowder is arguably the best I ever had. Fish and Chips were as good as I could possibly expect. The Guinness as good as it should be few yards away from the brewery. Also thanks to a friendly and warm staff this was by far my best meal in Dublin

“Great pub and authentic Irish food”
Reviewed October 5, 2013 via mobile

First place we ate in Dublin on the way to the Guinness Storehouse. I had the Guinness Stew which was so rich and wonderful. My husband and mom had the chowder which they loved as well. Dad had the fish and chips which he enjoyed. The pub is beautiful and gave us that immediate Irish feeling. Staff were lovely and quick! Reasonable prices as well!

“Nice pup close to the Guinness brewery”
Reviewed October 5, 2013 via mobile

A good pup with a great beer selection, both irish and import. Lies close to the Guiness brewery. First place I have seen in Ireland witout a tv running in the background which is nice.
