The Marilyn Mansion
Ranked #81 of 151 Dublin B&B and Inns
Reviewed October 23, 2013

Marilyn Mansion is great and good for your budget! Rooms are big, clean, comfortable and warm during cold days. Bathrooms are also very good and clean. Internet connection works well.
Staff is great, helpfull, knowledgable with information about Dublin and we had one of the funniest welcoming greetings we could get.
Decoration is also of great taste.
Surronding area is silent and calm.
There's some good restaurants nearby and a lot of bus stops.
Couldn't find a better B&B than Marilyn Mansion in that location.
I fully recommend it.

We stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely and the rooms are clean, comfortable and cosy. The house and grounds are beautiful and we felt completely at home form the moment we arrived. Thank you Marilyn Mansion, we will be back!!!

if you want ALMOST hotel-like quality for the price of a hostel, this is a great option. the people are incredibly nice and the place is very clean. It's not too close to the city center, but there's a bus running close by and the store isn't too far away either. It's NOT a hotel, but it's a high quality hostel and a wonderful place to stay if you want to explore the city.

Stayed here recently and was very happy all round. Spotlessley clean and has everything one needs .Okay its not 5 star but at the price one cant expect the frills. The people running the place are very nice, friendly and helpful. Nice safe area is a big plus and near busstops .If you are travelling by car, there is free parking ,another big plus in Dublin (bane of my life at the moment!!) Close to M50 so don't have to trawl through the city. One minor glitch and I realise its not the B/Bs fault ,it can be hard to find the road its on, but I lay blame on Dublin City whoever is in charge of putting up street signs Dept! Maybe the B/B could put up some obvious signage outside but again I suspect Planning Permission Dept may have a hand in this. All in all I was happy with this place.

Stayed three nights at the Marylin Mansion in late August. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room (n°4) was clean and functional, and the location is quite enjoyable, only a few minutes away from city center by bus, with the possibility to borrow a bike form the hotel too!
I booked directly on their website and got free breakfast, homemade pastries and fresh coffee: delicious!
I truly enjoyed my stay and the nice neighborhood.
I already recommended the Marilyn to friends and will definitely stay there again !

Room Tip: All rooms seem quite and nice!

Value for money bed and breakfast. A little way out of the city centre but a 1, 3 or 5 day bus pass is relatively inexpensive and there are several bus stops within easy reach with regular buses to the city centre. Situated in a nice suburb with facilities nearby a few mins walk or short bus ride away. Owner friendly and helpful. Gave us some good ideas of places to eat / visit. Would use it again.

This is a lovely hostel with great staff and a genuine concern for their guests. It's a well priced place for Dublin, It's clean friendly and nothing like up-tight.

I am on a working contract; so only stayed there for a few weeks until I got a flat, however when I tour in the future, I won't be able to resist a stop-off there.
