We're warned that we might have a long wait, but we walked right in and sat at the bar. (The entrance is very plain and it is not obvious that it is a restaurant.) The menu was somewhat limited and pricey, but we enjoyed everything we tried. Surprised they didn't offer chips with regular salsa, but we tried the chips with guac' and other dips, which were tasty. My wife had taquitos, which were on sale. I had pepper and cheese enchiladas and they were great. Overall, it was pretty expensive for a small amount of food. Service was friendly and the drinks were fine.

There is no way to justify charging € 6.50 for a bottle of beer, Food average, Service average, price of beer - ridiculous !

Having never heard of this restaurant before, I was blown away. Very cool decor inside with bottles, mirrors, a huge bar. Even the communal sink outside the toilets was impressive! Most importantly, the food was excellent - the group of the 6 of around the table concluded the twice cooked pork hock was the best out of the mains we ordered. It was magnificent, although we did have to ask for extra tortillas. I'd definitely go back.

I agree fully with other reviews posted, 2 of us went in for food and were shown to the bar as they stated they would not give us a table. As soon as we sat down the manager then informed us we had a 2 hour maximum to stay. This was all in line with several reviews posted here, and made us feel unwelcome after just stitting down. Naturally, empty tables were available for the entire time we were there. The food is excellent, if over-priced. The steak was excellent. I know the owner and have eaten at several of his restaurants, but if he wants people to keep coming back to pay top dollar for expensive bites then 777 need to change their attitude to customers. As a couple who eat regularly in town we will not come back, only because of the arrogance, which is a shame as the food and wine/cocktail selection is great, but for the money involved I don't want to eat at the bar (bill 170- euros for 2 for tapas, bottle of wine and 2 mains). The only coffee they have is filter coffee - they need to invest in a good coffee machine too. There are much better options for less in Dublin, with superior customer service than 777.

Ate here with a friend a while ago and had a fab night. Perhaps it was the margheritas but haven't had that much fun in ages ! We got the tostadas which were sublime and had the chicken to share. Each dish is packed with delicious flavours . Best Mexican food in Ireland by far. Great service too by a friendly girl. Will be back for sure
