Owner description: Peadar Kearney’s on Dame street is a traditional pub with strong historic roots. The pub is named after a musician who composed Abhrán na BhFiann (The Irish national anthem). We continue this tradition with nightly traditional, toe tapping music. One of the regular musicians, Brian Brody, is a must see for any tourist visiting the city. He’s a one man atmosphere machine. There’s a basement bar downstairs when upstairs overflows, which also caters to most sporting events. If you’re looking for somewhere with temple bar music and atmosphere without the prices, take a look at Peadar’s.

When in Dublin be sure to make your way to Peadar Kearney's on Dame Street, it has to be the best pub in Dublin, cheap drink can be got between the hours of 11 am and 7 pm ( not bad eh)
Music 7 nights a week, truly lovely staff, pint of Guinness is like nectar, what more can you ask for...... So when in Dublin do what the Dubliners do and head for Peadar Kearney's.

“Very nice place to be!”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

I have never actually taken the time to review something, but this place is worth a review. My time there was wonderful and everybody was very nice. I specifically talked with Nick, Dominick and Paddy and they were all wonderful. I was there during St. Patricks day weekend as a tourist and I was expecting to be treated as one (as I was in some other bars) but this place was really great. Cheers to Nick, Dominick and Paddy! I can only imagine that the rest of the workers were just as pleasant as the these three! This place is well worth a visit!

“Fantastic Night!”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

This is our favorite local pub experience to date. We went with friends to Peadar Kearney's one night after dinner and had our favorite night in Dublin. If you are looking for a local Irish Pub in Dublin with live music, look no further.
