Description: San Lorenzo’s is a modern Italian restaurant on Georges Street in the centre of Dublin city, close to Temple Bar at the downtown end of the culinary-famous Camden Mile. Grafton Street shopping, Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathedral and Trinity College are all within a few minutes’ walk of our front door. We welcome walk-in diners. Our weekend brunch is a staple of the Dublin social scene; it’s a buzzing hub of Irish metropolitan dining. High-quality ingredients and a laid-back style offer a smart treat for discerning visitors seeking the finest Italian restaurant in the Irish capital. If you are in quest of a cool and contemporary eatery for a business lunch or dinner, you can be assured that San Lorenzo’s is dedicated to delivering prompt and consistent quality and service every time. We offer superior quality Italian food with a NYC twist for lunch and dinner…and of course our famous weekend brunch!

Had a great eve with superb italian food, wine and service. There were 10 of us for a birthday din, early sitting @7pm but restaurant was full and buzzing. The waiter gave us plenty of notice to finish up pre next dinner guests, didn't feel rushed or shoved out.
Thoroughly enjoyed it and we will return.

We went here in December 2012 and had a wonderful time. Yes, it is very small and a little cramped but that didn't take away from our experience. Very attentive staff with food that's reasonabl priced. Would definitely return.

I have been to San Lorenzo's about 15 times last year and 3 already this year. It was mostly for Saturday lunch but also a few dinners. On every occasion the food has been outstanding - very creative menu using the best of, mostly local, ingredients with a lot of imagination and flair in the execution and presentation. Just some examples of what I would highly recommend are Porchetta Tonnata, Brucshetta with chicory, blue cheese and walnut pesto, Seafood chowder, Air dried Beef salad, Veal meatballs, Skate wings, Scallops with hollandaise, Venison. All their pastas are home made and so full of flavour. Deserts I haven't tried except for the Lemoncello sorbet which was delightful. The menu changes weekly so I've not been bored by having the same thing over again (not that this level of cuisine could bore!). They have a decent and comprehensive wine list which will suit all pockets. Service is certainly friendly and efficient and the staff are well able to answer questions and make recommendations. The facilities, which are located upstairs, allow customers to view the activities in the open plan kitchen. The only slight drawback in San Lorenzo's is the seating - it's a fairly small restaurant and usually it's filled to capacity so a private conversation would be overheard. However it's rarely packed on Saturday at lunch and so creating a more intimate atmosphere. The lunch menu is great value at less than €20 while the early bird is, as I remember, €23. There's a lot of competition in this part of town but you wont find a better food experience at a reasonable price, than San Lorenzo's
