“Awesome Atmosphere”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

We were on our way to the Pepperpot and stumbled on this restaurant in the middle of the Powers-court house. The food was very good and the atmosphere was awesome! Worth taking a break from shopping and heading here for lunch. We had the greek salad which wasn't bad considering we were in Ireland but the goat cheese with salami panini was really tasty!

“Pyg Cafe great for lunch”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

Visited with my wife and 2 friends for a relaxing lunch with good ambience. Found it hard to choose as there were 6 or 7 dishes on the menu equally appealing. Plumped for the Spicy Chorizo Stew from the small plate menu. It was fantastic - so tasty and anything but small! My wife had the warm goat's cheese salad and loved it. The Home fries were superb as a side. Our friends loved their meals and we will definitely return when next in Dublin.

“great location and high quality food”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

A few days in Dublin town, and after a few pints of the black stuff we moved onto some cocktails in the heated alley that sits beside PYG. We tore ourselves away from the comfy armchairs outside and into the restaurant set in the atrium of this old building. The service was swift, the menu selection was varied and when it came, was of high quality, lots of it, and the bill didn´t frighten you at the end! Definitely recommend.

“great spot for lunch”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

Been here several times. Location is outstanding. If you can manage to get a table with the couches/comfortable chairs then lunch can be very leisurely. Food has always been good in my experience. Services is friendly and enthusiastic, but I will admit can be a little hit or miss in terms of actually catching someone's eye. We shall return.

“Pygmallon Restaurant - brilliant”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

I have visited this restaurant on two different occasions recently and both times it was great. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The first time my husband, daughter and myself had lunch and the second time, it was a Sunday and they have all day brunch and some lunch dishes (from 1.00p.m. onwards). We had brunch which was lovely. The food was lovely and very tasty and not too expensive. It is a very busy, lively restaurant in a lovely setting. We will definitely be returning to Pygmallon. It was great.
