“Excellent late lunch”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

My friend & I had an excellent late lunch here on Saturday. We were very impressed with the varied & competively priced menu and chose to share the duck & chicken liver pate with onion marmalade and breads. Our server was excellent, he even offered to bring us more bread to finish our pate. I had the lamb skewers with an excellent hummous, tzatziki, salad & gratinated potatoe as recommended by our server (sorry I never got his name) and it was a great accompanient. My friend choose a penna pasta dish with chicken, sundried tomatoes & basil, a lot of basil, it was somewhat overpowering we felt. We had an excellent bottle of Chilean sauvigon blanc and happily sat in the covered/heated outside area watching the world go by. As I don't have a very sweet tooth but do like a little something sweet with my coffee, I was delighted to see a "bite/square" section in the dessert menu, where I assumed you'd get a mini sort of dessert with your coffee. I choose the hot brownie square and it was just as big as my friends dessert brownie, just minus the ice cream. All of the above came to just under €65, excellent value, excellent food, excellent service and a great location. So glad to have found such a bistro that we will be dying to go back to and visit again. Well done.

“Excellent service, good food”
Reviewed March 23, 2014

We ate breakfast here on a weekday. The decor is fresh and clean and the service was very very good. Our waiter asked where we were from, commented on the bad weather we had been getting there, and ended up giving us our coffees/cappuccinos on the house. Food was very good, no complaints. We recommend this place for breakfast.

“Beautiful wines and inventive salads!”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

Stumbled upon this fantastic bistro/restaurant last night and adored it. Our pre-requisite was a good wine list and plenty of light, but indulgent vegetarian food. I thought it was an Italian-themed joint at first, although the menu is very broad, with a great selection of salads, Mediterranean dishes and sharing platters. The Turkish hummus and crudités were fantastic and at 8EUR, really good value for a shared starter. Their Montepulciano is light, there's free minted table water and dessert is definitely worth substituting for a liqueur latte! Great service, too, courtesy of Scottish Mike who you may even tempt into a post-work pint!

Went here for lunch whilst we were staying in dublin to see riverdance. had something for everyone, a lovely menu with different foods you'd get in your typical restaurant. the staff are very friendly and had very quick service. always busy, every time we walked passed but managed to actually get a seat one lunch time. a must if you're in dublin and looking for a nice, relaxed environment for food.
