We stayed longer of course. A hidden gem! Great location across from St. Stephens Green and a block away from Grafton St. When you finish there, take a Viking Duck Tour that depart right outside.

Great way to spend a few hours learning about the history of Dublin. Located directly opposite St Stephens Green (the site of the 1916 Easter Uprising). An escorted tour is highly recommended.

Very worthwhile overview of political and social Dublin from 1776 -- the year the building housing the museum was constructed -- up to today.

If you’re there before September 24, 2017, be sure to visit the exhibit on the history of Dublin’s Pubs. It’s informative and practical since many of the pubs discussed are near the museum.
