“Too short a visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2013

Had an hour to spare before a show in the National Concert Hall. Excellent collection of a variety of items connected with recent Dublin history. Wonderful conducted tour on the hour. Would need another hour or twq to revisit items brought to our attention by the tour guide. Have been recommending to all our friends that they visit this Museum

“Irish Ambassadors program: A Highlight In Dublin Attractions”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2013

We spent two hours with Ruth Ryan, a volunteer/"ambassador," and it was definitely a highlight of our trip. We had a million questions -- whether we asked her about Dubliners' perspective on North Ireland or the Catholic Church or just for shopping tips, Ruth was eager to dive right and offer her interesting, informative perspective. It is a wonderful (free) program and an amazing introduction to this wonderful city. This is a must-do in Ireland.

“Thanks Johnson Mooney & O'Brien and John”

and our tour guide John! What a lovely way to spend an afternoon. John was an excellent tour guide, obviously passionate about his job, with lots of knowledge about history and film. I would advise a visit to this museum. Afterwards a trip to the cafe - amazing scones!

“Great place for memories”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2013

Visited this little museum with my Father (member) and sister in October 2013.
My Father attends lectures and talks here monthly and was given his membership as a present from his youngest daughter Rachel,. He loves the evening and enjoys the various interesting and diverse people delivering the talks.
It is an interesting spot to visit and see Dublin in the rare old times. Brought back many memories and my Father is thinking of donating some important historical artefacts to the museum if they accept them.
Highly recommended.

“One of the best museum experiences ever!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2013

From the time we were steered into the museum by a costumed character on the street, to the greeting at the front desk, to the entertaining and informative tour by the same front-desk greeter, we really enjoyed The Little Museum. Fascinating history of Ireland/Dublin told in a super-entertaining way. Special bonus: It’s open on Monday when most museums are closed. Definitely a tour to put on your list!
