“A taste of Italy on Ormond Quay, Dublin”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

My wife and I made our first visit to this restaurant recently. We ordered pizza and lasagne for mains, ice cream for dessert and an Italian White Wine we hadn't tried before. The service was excellent. The waiter was friendly and he was knowledgeable on Italian wines, and though the restaurant was busy took time to discuss the wine we had chosen. The pizza was very tasty and fresh and large. The lasagne was 'home made' and was delicious. There is an Early Bird offer of a discount of 15% on the total bill and it is available until 7.00 p.m. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and very good value for the service and food. There is an extensive wine list ranging from €21 per bottle. Two lovely Italian coffees rounded off a fine meal.

“We intended to eat at Langhe!”
Reviewed June 15, 2013 via mobile

These restaurants both run by Wallace are next door to each other with one on Lower Ormond Quay and one on Bloom. Honest mistake and still tasty! My husband loved his lasagna. My tagliatelle was flavorful, but the beef strips were tough. We shared a salad Modenese and the yummy dark chocolate cake.

A great array of wine to choose from. ... Sarda pizze is recommended as is the Italian coffee. Very friendly service.

“Yummy!!”
Reviewed May 15, 2013 via mobile

Had a late dinner here with a big group of Italian friends. Lovely starter of bread cheese and salami. We all ordered pizzas for mains which were large and super delicious! Had the warm chocolate cake with ice cream and it was so good I asked for a second portion but they had ran out! Well worth a visit.

“Average and a tad too pricey!!!”
Reviewed May 12, 2013

I visited this restaurant with a friend last week!We went for the a la carte menu with 15% off your bill on completion of your meal.We ordered two glasses of white wine, they were very nice but they did not do pinot grigio by the glass I found this very strange as pinot grigio is Italian!!
How and ever we ordered our food I had a pizza and my friend the carbonara! Both were seriously lacking, te pizza was extremely heavy ladened down with a huge film of cheese likewise my friends carbonara was heavy sticky and too cheesy!regardless of this the bill for the two mains and two glasses of wine with two coffees amounted to(after the 15% deduction) 37 euro which to me for what we got was a bit steep. The waitress however was very nice and friendly but there is a very laid back vibe in this place so if you just want to get in and out this mightnt be for you!
