My friends and I were out looking for a place to eat, and stumble over this jem. The restaurant is quite small, but warm and welcoming. The waitress was very nice and efficient. We all orderd pizza, and was pleasantly surprised over how good the thin Italian style pizzas were. To drink we chose prosecco with strawberry juice. VERY good. For dessert we orderd apple cake with cream and banoffe gateau. That was an excellent way to end our meal! If you ever are in Dublin, don't walk past, go inn and enjoy!

If you want a glass of wine and a quick nibble this is ok but the menu is limited. Beware the pizzas are small by 'modern standards' and toppings sparse. It is a nice venue and the staff (singular) was pleasant but this isn't an Italian restaurant. Nice idea and better for couples more interested in eating one another than the food but not the best for groups.

I was in town with my mum on thursday night and we were looking for somewhere to eat.
We stumbled across this place and decided to eat there. The service was excellent - always there in the back round but not in your face! A very cheerful welcome also. The food was very very good and you can see it being prepared. I had olives and pizza - pizza was very good - thin crispy base. Mum had brushetta with mozzarella and freshly chopped tomatoes followed by the goats cheese and beetroot salad. We shared a bottle of the cabernet sauvignon. This came to €51.50. VERY GOOD PRICES!! when we paid they gave us vouchers for 10% off our next visit and I CANNOT WAIT to go back! :)
I highly highly recommend! :)

My boyfriend and I came by late on a weeknight. We had a delicious pizza, and had several lovely glasses of wine, but the owner was the best! The atmosphere is so cozy and warm inside, very accessible on the main drag overlooking the river. We really got to know more about Dublin and Ireland from a friendly local perspective, while swapping funny stories with each other and recommendations of what else to see/where to go. Definitely a real treat! We were sad that we didn't have time to stop in a 2nd time, but Ireland will call us again and we'll be back! And absolutely a bang for your buck, you can't go wrong here. Thanks for a great evening Sinead! ~Jeanette & Mark
