“Very disappointing”
Reviewed December 6, 2012

We bought vouchers for this restaurant from a deal website, after first checking that they would be accepted for a party of 8 for the night in question. We subsequently had to change our booking to the following day and again advised that we would be using the vouchers. We had been advised that we needed to be off the table by 7:30pm, and we were fine with that. When we arrived at the restaurat at 6pm there were only 2 diners, a boy and a man. The manager advised us that we could not use the vouchers as that date had been excluded from the deal. I explained that I had double checked this before booking. He said that he would discuss with the chef?? Why? Surely his role is explained by his title: manage-r, so why did he need the chef to help make his decision? It wasn't as if the chef was run off his feet and we were looking to be squeezed into a full thriving restaurant! However, despite the restaurant being completely empty at this stage, he still refused to honour our booking, on principle. So on principle, we left and went around the corner to the Chatham Brasserie and even though we had no booking and the restaurant was very busy, they said they could offer us a table until 8pm. We had a lovely meal in this brasserie at a very reasonable price. In fact it was cheaper than the deal we had bought for Kitchen restaurant and the staff were much more friendly. I would recommend this restaurant over Kitchen any day. For any 'manager' to turn paying customers away from an empty restaurant in the current climate is ludicrous, and all I can say is taht I'm glad he's not managing my business!

“Cold Night Warm Restaurant Good Food Great Staff”
Reviewed December 6, 2012

My wife and i were here on 5th December for her Birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Staff were very attentive friendly and knowledgeable about their menu and wines.
Seafood chowder is probably one of the nicest ones that I have had to date.
We had gone in on a Voucher deal but would definitely return as it was such a great spot.
Place is quite small but great things come in small packages.... Thumbs up for a nice romantic meal.

“Excellent food and staff”
Reviewed December 3, 2012

On a busy Saturday we stopped off at 'Kitchen' for a late lunch at 1530. Staff very accommodating as lunch service was finishing. I ordered a sandwich and soup came with it. Sounds plain enough but very tasty. the soup was white onion and spinach, delicious and the BLT was on fresh brown batch bread. My partner had chicken salad sandwich which was also delicious! the place has imagination even with a simple lunch. Would highly recommend and will be back.

“100% recommendation !”

One word sums up this restaurant - superb!
First of all big compliment on the staff as all of them were extremely nice, helpful and very attending, especially Shujan. A big thank you to this gentleman :) He just made our night out.

The place is very small but it just perfect for a night out with dinner. It is beautifully done with very stylish finish.

The food was served very quickly and I can only describe it as mouth-watering & scrumptious. The quality is just exceptional, really can’t even think about one bad thing about this place.
We will definitely visit again soon.

Great job lads! Keep it up :)
