Owner description: Since John Jameson's brave first steps into this building in 1780, we've been focused on his ambition to create unforgettable experiences (along with great whiskey, of course). The new look Jameson Distillery Bow St. carries on this ambition through five fully guided experiences: Bow St. Experience Distillery Tour, Premium Whiskey Tasting, Whiskey Blending Class, Whiskey Cocktail Making Class, and a Cask Draw Experience in Dublin's only Live Maturation Warehouse - all of which have a firm focus on immersive storytelling. You'll be invited to touch, smell, and most importantly, taste Jameson in the original Bow St. Distillery buildings. The only way to get closer to the source would be to have John Jameson guide you through the distillery himself.
Useful Information: Wheelchair access, Bathroom facilities, Lockers / storage

After missing the distillery in Cork due to time constraints, I really wanted to make it to the old one in Dublin. Cost was 14Euro for the tour of about 40 min, ending with a comparison tasting between Jameson and two other top selling whiskeys. Also your ticket includes a free drink at the bar after the tour. Informative and entertaining.

I can't imagine going to Dublin and not checking this place out. Great tour, interesting, easy location. The gift shop has a ton of great stuff, including a special bottle of 12 year old Jameson that you can have them print a name on the label! The tour ends with a tasting of a Scotch, American whiskey, and Jameson before your given one drink in the bar and also get a "Whiskey Taster" certificate. Very fun overall!

A brief visit to the Old Jameson Distillery is worth the effort. The guided tour is brief but informative and finishes up with a sample of their product. No trip to Dublin would be complete without a visit to Jameson's.

This is a great tour. We had to wait for our tour to start but there are restaurants and the bar to pass the time.

Unfortunately we were really looking forward to this... but the lady talked in a mono-tone that sounded like she was reading from the script in her head. We got rushed through from start to finish (yes, we realised it was a short tour). It was basically a little bit a about how they make it with a few tasters of different Whiskey. Then afterwards you sit down at a table and have another drink...no activities or anything worth seeing. The gift store is also pretting limiting and I struggled to find anything I wanted to buy! All in all, pretty expensive for an average and boring tour.
