Owner description: Since John Jameson's brave first steps into this building in 1780, we've been focused on his ambition to create unforgettable experiences (along with great whiskey, of course). The new look Jameson Distillery Bow St. carries on this ambition through five fully guided experiences: Bow St. Experience Distillery Tour, Premium Whiskey Tasting, Whiskey Blending Class, Whiskey Cocktail Making Class, and a Cask Draw Experience in Dublin's only Live Maturation Warehouse - all of which have a firm focus on immersive storytelling. You'll be invited to touch, smell, and most importantly, taste Jameson in the original Bow St. Distillery buildings. The only way to get closer to the source would be to have John Jameson guide you through the distillery himself.
Useful Information: Wheelchair access, Lockers / storage, Bathroom facilities

Pat our tour guide was very knowledgable and even cracked a few jokes. With your ticket you get a free drink and I am now a Jameson drinker

This is a must see attraction and would recommend.

As soon as you walk through the distillery doors you are immediately enticed by refreshing cocktails and a very cool looking bar area. We had a 25 min wait for the next organised tour but this was no problem at all given their extensive gift shop, bar area, and upstairs restaurant. We had a coffee and hot chocolate in the restaurant while we were waiting and the service was excellent, even being offered a glass of water while we were waiting on the hot drinks being made. A table next to us ordered food and it looked delicious - it was our one regret that we were never able to eat there over our weekend away! The queuing system was well organised with a large board giving you a count down to your tour and a PA announcement when the tour was beginning. Tour was very interesting and I was even picked for the Whiskey Tasting at the end :) Plus everyone received a free Jameson on top of this - either a Jameson, Ginger Ale, and Lime, or a straight Jameson. Well worth a visit...

Our party of 4 didn't have enough time to give 24 hours notice to visit the Guinness Brewery during our long week-end in Dublin-we should have booked in advance. We will next time.
Therefore we visited The Old Jameson Distillery which was fabulous. We all came out with glowing cheeks. Luckily no one was driving!
The tour was very comprehensive and explained why Jameson is so smooth - Triple distillation! The tasting was great. My wife even drank her Jameson Whiskey sample neat.

I thought this one was better than the Guinness tour, so if you were going to just do one, I recommend this one. A lot of fun, plus you get Jameson at the end!

Same style of the Guinness storehouse, this attraction is not to miss.
Well presented, they make the tour interesting and informative. You can learn more about whiskey fabrication in general and details about Jameson whiskey itself.
In the end, you can taste some of their whiskey and a few people from the group can taste different whiskeys from USA, Scotland and Ireland.

Save some time for the queue. Can take up to 1 hour. As you can purchase your ticket very quickly and leave the queue while you wait, the best to do is to have something to drink in the nice bar they have there or you can go to their restaurant. The gift shop is also a good option to kill some time.
