Owner description: Since John Jameson's brave first steps into this building in 1780, we've been focused on his ambition to create unforgettable experiences (along with great whiskey, of course). The new look Jameson Distillery Bow St. carries on this ambition through five fully guided experiences: Bow St. Experience Distillery Tour, Premium Whiskey Tasting, Whiskey Blending Class, Whiskey Cocktail Making Class, and a Cask Draw Experience in Dublin's only Live Maturation Warehouse - all of which have a firm focus on immersive storytelling. You'll be invited to touch, smell, and most importantly, taste Jameson in the original Bow St. Distillery buildings. The only way to get closer to the source would be to have John Jameson guide you through the distillery himself.

we had a great time on our tour. We did not find it overpriced at all since you actually got a full sized drink at the end of the tour as part of your tour admission. Our guide was fun and knowledgeable. we were chosen to be part of a "taste testing" at the end of the tour which created huge amounts of laughter and fun.

overall an excellent experience

My friend and I recently took the Jameson Distillery tour and were pleasantly surprised at how much we liked it. I thought it was just another liquor tour, but the guide was informative and fun.....and there was a tasting competition at the end of the tour. I wish now that I had volunteered for it. Even if you are not on the tasting panel, there is a free glass of Jameson's for all. I found out I liked it very much! What a surprise find!

After visiting the Kilbeggan Distillery, this was a bit of a disappointment. It is not a working distillery and the experience was less than satisfying. The tour leader was very good and the restaurant and facilities seemed ok.

Like everything else in dublin, massively over priced.
Perhaps because I visited on a Saturday afternoon, the tour guide couldn't have been less interested.
Since no whisky is made here the tour consists of a series of props, nothing more.
I visited the bushmills tour in Northern Ireland, this one doesn't come close to it.
On the whole disappointed.

Dear Visitor,

Many thanks for taking the time to post a review following your recent visit to the Old Jameson Distillery. We are sorry to hear that you were not entirely satisfied with your experience. Indeed, no whiskey is produced on our site today. Instead, we strive to take our visitors on a rich and engaging guided journey through the history of Jameson Irish Whiskey and the process of whiskey making, in the original home of the famous spirit. We apologise if you felt your guide did not provide a compelling portrayal of the story on the particular day of your visit. We take pride in ensuring that all guests receive a first class experience at all times, so we take feedback like this very seriously, and it will be shared with the team for review.
Again, we thank you for your feedback.
The Distillery Team.

The tour is impressive. Our guide was very good. It is a big site with different buildings. The visit is very interesting for all the informations you get from the different stages in the making of this whiskey. You get to taste a sampler at the end of the visit. Also, 10 people got to taste 3 different king of whiskey: scotch whiskey, Jameson and USA. They got a certificate for there hard labor. The store is good. We bought 4 different kind... Paddy=strong(good in a drink). Powers=better. Well, as for the 2 others, they are still intact! Sorry.... Go and have fun!
