Owner description: Since John Jameson's brave first steps into this building in 1780, we've been focused on his ambition to create unforgettable experiences (along with great whiskey, of course). The new look Jameson Distillery Bow St. carries on this ambition through five fully guided experiences: Bow St. Experience Distillery Tour, Premium Whiskey Tasting, Whiskey Blending Class, Whiskey Cocktail Making Class, and a Cask Draw Experience in Dublin's only Live Maturation Warehouse - all of which have a firm focus on immersive storytelling. You'll be invited to touch, smell, and most importantly, taste Jameson in the original Bow St. Distillery buildings. The only way to get closer to the source would be to have John Jameson guide you through the distillery himself.

Attended a tour on Friday morning 11am March 15. It was obvious from the very beginning that our tour guide would have rather been doing anything else. He made it very clear that he wasn't happy with the St. Patrick's Day crowds. Maybe this is the way it is with big corporations.

Dear Stan,
It is clear that you were disappointed with your recent visit to the Old Jameson Distillery, and we are very sorry to learn that our tour was unsatisfactory. St. Patrick’s weekend is a particularly busy period for us indeed, but we are always delighted to welcome visitors to the Old Jameson Distillery and strive to ensure that our usual high standard is maintained on these busy occasions. We wish to apologise if you felt this was not apparent or the case. We ensure that your feedback is shared with the management team and the tour guiding department for review.

The tour through the facility was fantastic, we got to see how the whiskey is started, fermented and how each choice effects the taste of the final product. We got to enjoy a sample of Jameson as well as there was a challenge for 8 participants to take part in which gave them a fond memento to take home.

I was walking around Dublin and stumbled on the Jameson distillery. It's a museum, restaurant and bar now. The tour was a lot of fun, our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I learned a lot from the tour and the tasting at the end. Stopped at the bar for a coffee, Irish of course, and admired the setting, very pleasant.

The old distillery has been transformed into a museum, restaurant, and bar. The tour through the museum depicts parts of the distilling process as it used to be done. Listen closely and you will hear that things are done a little differently in the new location. The museum is mostly dioramas and so/so depictions. The tour ends in the tasting room with an explanation of the differences in taste between American, Irish, and Scotch whiskeys. About eight people were chosen as tasters and asked for their opinions. This was the most interesting part. Early in the tour when they ask for volunteers, be one.

Took the Jameson tour. Found it to b interesting but not quite asgood as the Guinness tour. The gift shop is expensive but everything looks like good quality. I would reccommend this as something to do in Dublin.
