The bar at the front was really cool. It is situated over the top of the original fermentation vessels which you can see through the glass floor. The Irish coffee at the bar was fantastic and the bar staff were really informative and nice. They actually tell you to take the drink with you on the tour and not slam it in a hurry as that would be alcohol abuse. Now, if only more of the tour was as awesome as that. Following a very lame video that tells you nothing, you get a tour of what might have been. It is not bad. The best thing about this tour was the tasting. We found out that we love Jameson's whiskey which is smooth like Canadian whiskey. We ended up with a small bottle from the gift shop and another round of coffee at the bar after the tour.

The tour is great. Our Tour Guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about the Distillery. We enjoyed the taster at the end of the tour. The staff were all very welcoming and we found it good value for money.

i am not a whiskey drinker but this was a pretty decent tour showing you the whole distilling process and the history of Jameson. The Guinness Storehouse was more enjoyable but that could be to do with it being my preferred drink :)

This was a wonderful tour. We walked from our hotel to the Guinness tour and didn't care for it that much. Then we decided to walk up to the Jameson Distillary. It was worth all the walking.

First off, coming right from the Guinness tour I would say the Jameson one was better. The facility seemed more appropriate and not "cheesy" like the Guinness.

The tour guide did a good job explaining without putting me to sleep. We did just land from an 8 hour flight.

Best of all was the tasting at the end. It was very well done and in fact my wife became an official Jameson whiskey taster. Certificate and all!!!

If you like whiskey or beer choose whiskey! If you have time for both, do them back to back and then take a cab home :-)
