“Friendly staff, great pub, food let it down”
Reviewed August 23, 2013 via mobile

1st night in Dublin & we went here for dinner. The staff were friendly & helpful. We both ordered fish & chips at €8.95, we thought this was good value. Unfortunately, the fish was awful, tasted like something you would buy in the frozen food aisle & throw into the fryer. Greasy, processed & unpleasant. Shame really because the pub was nice place with loads of historical artifacts from the 1916 Uprising

“Heard so much I had to visit”
Reviewed February 28, 2013

We heard so much about this place that we had to find it and try it. This is one of very few that open at 7am to serve the shift workers with food and a cocktail. The ambiance is great and clean for a place that is open for the number of hours they are. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. Glad we found it.

Very welcoming interior, staff were very friendly and helpful. One slight complaint was that it could have been a little cleaner...

“Grand Place for a pint”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

Have been in slattery's a few times now for either food, watch a match or just for a sneaky pint. Its always warm and very cosy. Great place to watch a football match with plenty of televisions and also a big screen. Prices are in the line with the other pubs in the city centre. I've only ate on the new menu once but it was lovely.

“Decent spot...”
Reviewed December 24, 2012

Just popped into Slatterys for a late lunch this week and it was great. I ordered their half roast chicken for 12 euros and it was extremely good value for money. There was a nice atmosphere in the bar and they have a strict rule of No Tracksuits....good rule as it keeps out the undesirables. Will come back again. Enjoy...
