This may not be M.me Tussaud's, but it is certainly worth a visit. The figures are generally well-made, the Irish Writer's Room (which happens to be the first you encounter on your tour) looks like it's crowded with real people , the kid's section is absolutely enthralling (by the way, you enter it via a rabbit-hole, Alice-in-Wonderland style), and there is also a small, but really gory Horror Chamber. The icing on the cake? You can record your own karaoke performance at the Wax Factor Studio, and take the result home with you. We did it, and it was brilliant ;)

Not much to see and hardly worth the admission. Many of the figures are faded Irish stars from the eighties that nobody knows anymore. I remember the old wax museum as having a little more on offer. They seem to have few new figures and perhaps need to invest some of the high admission in the actual museum.

Visited here after seeing good advertising round Dublin, picked up a leaflet in the tourist office giving another euro off (you will need a leaflet for each person) even with the discount it cost 22 euro or you can pay in sterling which was £18(for 2 adults). It's housed in an old bank and takes you to the basement where the displays are in what were the old safes which was better to look at than the wax dummies, there is an audio commentary which was interesting but the wax works are laughable, Elizabeth 1st and her French manicure! The chamber of horrors is built up to be amazing - big let down, on the whole we had a laugh trying to figure out who each wax work was supposed to be, some of the attractions were out of order, which you dont find out till you get to it, there was a lack of staff on the way round (none) if you wanted info or help on the way round, there are a lot of stairs and at the time we visited the lift was out of order, this is an expensive attraction for what you get and i would not recommend it unless they spend some money on it

Me and my friend went to Dublin this year on the last day we needed something to just to kill a few hours before our plane and we heard about this place thought yes why not. I think it's over priced for what it is
Poor quality and we found it was quite dirty needed a good clean we was out quite quick not a lot there feel like we could of done something more proactive instead of going there

It's not cheap to get in, is small, cramped and dated inside, the models were looking rather tired and some looked a bit home made to be honest - I reckon I could do much better given a few candles and a box of matches (and quite a few I didn't even know who they were). I think we were in and out in the space of about 40 minutes and it was busy so we couldn't exactly rush round. To be honest with 2 adults,1 student and a child I could think of better ways to waste nearly 50GBP in less than an hour. There is better places to visit in Dublin don't waste your time on this one.
