This place is a great find if you want a break from the hurly burly of the city. It is a stone's throw from St Stephen's Green but is a lot quieter and the walls around it give a sense of privacy. Nice rose garden too. It gets very busy during lunch hour if the weather is good.

I read about this Garden on Tripadvisor and since it was located right around the corner from where I was staying at the Conrad Dublin I visited on the morning of 12th Aug 2012.

It is tucked away and a beautiful place with a rose garden and fountains. And while I was there the water fountain was turned on so I followed the sound of the water and came upon this lovely water feature.

It is truly an oasis and have few people so not crowded at all.

It is a sort of unknown secret, a hidden away garden not far from St Stephen's Green. On a summers day a lovely place for a picnic before a lunchtime concert at the NCH a short walk away. Just watch out for old winos and beggars and the possibility of pickpockets and other thieves. Ought to be a higher presence of Garda on duty.

Beautiful place to visit, Would recommend this quite strongly. The water flowing over the rocks and ferns, very calming experience.
