This was amazing to see and well worth the price of entrance. I was not so impressed by the Book of Kells but this made up for that.

A great inexpensive tour by an enthusiastic guide. You must see "Book of Kells" in old library, the visit is worth the entrance fee several times over.

Trip to Trinity college Dublin ...and had to visit the Old library and view the Book of Kells... The exhibit in the library is very informative, reasonably priced less than 10 euro and the short wait to gain entry was worth it... Many ancient manuscripts and the books themselves are on display to show an example of the illustration and text... The bonus to the exhibit is to gain access to the long room - of the old library awestruck how this room looks... You are able to photograph the library without flash but the book of kells it is completely prohibitive ... I would recommend this attraction very highly

The Book of Kells was cool to see, but the real highlight for me was the long room filled with old books and historical artifacts. The grounds are especially beautiful, but be aware their are limited exits.

And the Book of Kells says a lot about it. How religious, how engaged in art and peace they were...until the invasions happened and turned the whole place into a trading spot!
Talking about trading, this library has a shop with really beautiful souveniers.
