“A little gem in Temple Bar”

The photographs in this free exhibition are wonderful and really capture the places and people of Ireland. We really enjoyed this and have recommended it to family for their next trip to Dublin – well worth a visit.

We used the TripAdvisor Dublin City Guide app, which places the building in an incorrect location on the map – the exhibition is in the heart of Temple Bar and not on the North side of the river as shown (this was the only time this excellent guide let us down and we will be using the guides on future trips, well worth downloading before you go).

Popped into this place today as walking by. Was an excellent collection of beautiful and interesting photographs. Admission is free and it is a great way to entertain yourself for an hour or so.

As a Photography Student this is something I simply had to visit and I wasn't disappointed. The gallery is two storeys high and there isn't an entry fee to view the photographs.
A member of Staff is always to hand but doesn't bother you when you are looking around, so you are free to browse quietly and ask questions if needed.
All in all, it was a very informative visit and around the corner is a photography book shop with another gallery inside, literally a 2 minute walk away!
Definitely go and have a look.

As a photography enthusiast, whenever in Dublin I always visit the National Photographic Archive. It's a great way to wile away an hour or so, and take in the always fascinating large print exhibitions in the bright and spacious gallery, located right on the edge of Meeting House Square. And it's free !
