Easy to get to from city centre, bus stops outside. We got a combined ticket for the tour and museum. The tour was so interesting, the tour guide was excellent. It lasted nearly two hours but felt much shorter, could have listened to her all day. The museum is modern and well laid out. Nice coffee shop for a break. Wear comfortable shoes ;)

My husband and I took this fantastic tour of the cemetery. The amount of history and great story telling by our guide was amazing. We often will take a stroll through a grave yard to get a sense of the history of the place, but knowing the stories of some of the every day people was a humbling experience. The cemetery contains some very notable people in Irish history and the guide gave a wonderful summary of each. The museum was really interesting and the reception staff were very polite and helpful. You get a 10% discount in the cafe if you would like a fresh tasty lunch. Overall definitely worth the visit.

Glasnevin Cemetary is one of the largest cemetaries in Ireland and home to so many famous Irish individuals. A walk around the cemetary is very easy going and relaxing and also helps you see how headstones have changed over the years. While I have not a tour of the cemetary itself, I have visited the graves of the famous irish and also did the museum tour.

I found the museum very interesting, showing numerous aspects of belief and funerary custom in Ireland throughout the years.

I would highly recommend doing this tour if you are in Dublin for a few days. Afterwards drop into the Gravediggers for one of the best pints of Guinness in the city.

We came to Dublin for four days. We had a great time here. The information was very interesting and we learned a lot. Our guide was wonderful. We also saw a reenactment of a very moving speech, given at a powerful Irish man's funeral. WOW!
