As a native of Dublin, & living 10 mins from the Cemetary most of my life,I had taken this place for granted.

So, myself & my Polish friend arranged to take the Walking Tour on a Sunday Afternoon.

Our tour guide was excellent, who made the tour all the more enjoyable with his sense of humour & knowledge.

I learnt a lot on this tour which I was surprised with

A nice way to spend an afternoon

My Fiancé and I went to visit Glasnevin cemetery in early August. The tour was absolutely brilliant and very informative. Our tour guide Bridget was amazing; she was so interesting, humorous, patient and catered to all the needs and questions on the tour. The tour was very factual and thoroughly enjoyable. We had a fantastic sunny afternoon on the tour. Without doubt one of the best tours in Dublin. We would definitely recommend it to everyone. Try and get on a tour with Bridget as she definitely made the tour!

If you like a little history, this is is the place to go. Our guide, Paddy, was amazing, the tour was easy to follow (in terms of walking and such), and incredibly interesting. The museum is beautiful, even if it's small. I think this is a must if your visiting Dublin. A great place to go.

A good guide makes a huge difference to a tour. We were very lucky to have had Niall as our very informative, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and humorous guide of Glasnevin Cemetery & Museum. His stories and biographical information about the historical men & women whose graves we visited added so much to the tour. The museum is well worth a visit where modern digital technology enhances the exhibits. Our tour- only one of many - lasted for just over an hour followed by about an hour in the museum. The Glasnevin Trust have done Dublin and Ireland some service !
