It's hard to believe there can be so much history in one graveyard. This is a must for any irish person or visitor alike. The tomb of daniel o Connell, and the grave of Michael Collins need I say more. Very tasteful. Excellent tour guide.

“Great Tour”

Excellent tour of the cemetery and of Irish history. It's hard to believe that so many prominent figures of Irish history are buried so close together. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had no problem keeping everyone entertained for 90 mins. Great service with complimentary brollies if the weather is a bit wet. Not just for tourists, great for the locals also. We followed it up with a pint in the Gravediggers which was good too.

“Amazing school trip... Can't believe I had never been before!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2013

We visited Glasnevin on Monday 25th march with a group of pupils. Myself and 3 other members of staff went with them. When we first phoned the staff could not have been more helpful, they organised everything for us that all we had to do was turn up. Our guide really made the day, he was excellent ( I could have taken him back to my classroom and let him teach all my classes) he was amazing, so factual and interesting. I thought a cemetery visit could never been as interesting but ill be back to Glasnevin with family and friends as I know they would love it! An actor even reinacted P. Pearse graveside speech! Great museum on site too! Thank you for a great day out, even in the bitter cold weather, it was fantastic!

“Amazing Tour with reinactment in Glasnevin”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2013

Wow is all I can say about the guided tour that we were given in Glasnevin Cemetery on Saturday, we brough my parents (late 50s) my sister brother and spouses/partners we were captivated from beginning to end getting to touch Daniel O Connells coffin and visit all the final resting places of the brave who fought in our many poliitcal encounters in years gone past. 10 out of 10 Ive lived in Dublin for 11 years and I cant believe that it has taken us this long to make the visit Ill be going back again before the yr is out. Atached in a gorgeous cafe with homecooked mains and deserts and a museum for more information
