It is not as good as expecting it. I and my partner visited it 2 weeks ago, when we visited Dublin, as it was one of the recommended attractions. Unfortunately, we did not manage to see all the animals, as they were a lot of exhibitions were closed for renovation. Other exhibitions were not close and we could not see the animals on their place or where they feed them. Although we saw a lot of animals, and we could see the night lights exhibitions, some areas were untidy too.

Beautiful animals, went on a cold day and was nice to wander around and not have crowds of people! Saw all the animals and would return again! Easy to get to and lots to see

Had a great time at the zoo , but u would need a full day if not another day to enjoy the whole zoo, there is so much to see and there is plenty of play areas for children and picnic areas and restaurants to eat.

We went to see the wild lights in Dublin Zoo on the last night Sunday night. We all had a lovely time and the lights were magical. A lovely end to the Christmas celebrations. Well done for hosting such a wonderful event!

In the morning we visited this Zoo which was established in 1831 and is said to be one of the oldest zoos in the world. The Zoo houses more than 400 animals many of which are endangered and rare. The zoo is being constantly upgraded and had been turned also into very attractive gardens with lakes around. The animals are housed in indoor and outdoor areas. It stays open till 4:00pm. After 5:00pm you can visit the Wild Lights at the very same place. Many of the lights are a creation of animals past and present, animations etc... and they are very attractive and impressive.
