Stayed at hotel for two nights. Due to having a baby we booked the family room as we thought we would have room to set up a cot. On checking in we were asked to repack our things to move to a different room the next day as they needed to do some work on the room we were staying in. An damn right they needed to!!! Couldn't get in the room for furniture, had to move two large arm chairs and a dressing table to be able to unpack and set up babies cot. Slight smell of mould, paint falling off the walls and huge cobwebs, wasn't impressed. Then the TV wouldn't work so my husband went to move the bed to see if it was switched on, the bedhead then fell and knocked all the wall socket off! Not a great start. Only the main room light worked, towels were thread bare and everything very tired and needing alot of TLC. We repacked in the morning and they moved our things to a better room, which I'm pleased to say was much better and what we expected for the price - Comfy bed and a good hot shower. When asked why they just didn't give us that room for two nights in the first place? "We wasn't sure if you had children or not"....This information would have been on the booking?! Although I stated that the room was totally unacceptable there was no refund or discount offered but a very polite level of ignorance as though they didn't know what I was asking or saying. "Your room is better now though, yes?" They need to raise their cleaning standards, replace chipped and broken glasses and jugs in the dining room and definately invest in a new highchair. Taxis to and from Dublin Centre (Temple Bar) 10Euro each way, cash machine, supermarket and takeaway about a 10 minute walk from hotel and the car park is tucked away behind the hotel. Carpark - Once you pass the hotel on your left, take next left and about 30yds on your left there is a narrow back alley to it. Hotel is very easy to find if arriving into Dublin Port.

Room Tip: Don't book the family room unless it's been refurbished, phone ahead to confirm your booking...

Never again will I stay at this hotel. The bed was simply awful - mattress was the cheapest and was lumpy and collapsed. My partner and I got no sleep. We did complain immediately about the bed and instead of offering us another room straight away (as any decent hotel will do) they only offered us another room at a much higher price - which we didn't take. We were going to walk out and try and find another hotel but as it was late we couldn't find an alternative. We decided to rough it for the night and we didn't get any sleep. I am 8 weeks pregnant and was simply disgusted at people thinking this kind of bed is suitable for paying guests.

Room Tip: We were in room 36 - bed should be thrown away.

Positives - Room was clean and comfortable as were the staff. It's a twenty minute walk into town.
Negatives - Corridors were smelly, No plug in the sink and we missed not having tea making facilities in the room.
Would we stay again - yes as the price was good.

This is the Irish "budget airline" of accommodation. They provide a room with a bed - everything else is extra except wi fi. Comfy bed, good hot shower, minuscule bathroom, friendly helpful receptionist. Thanks for your help Anastasia.

We stayed here for 3 nights, rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. We did not opt for the breakfast so cannot comment. The bus stop is opposite and runs every 15 minutes into town. There are a couple of local pubs near by and a cost cutter and spar. The hotel reception was very informative. All in all a good place to stay that is far enough out of town to guarantee a good nights sleep but close enough to feel part of it.
