Are you staying primarily to get a night of rest but most importantly be in a good location? Than this could be for you. Are you staying with the intent of a quality facility, very comfortable setting, a night of blissful slumber, and the assistance of highly helpful staff? Well, this isn't the spot for you and anyone else traveling with you.

We stayed for two nights in a family room with two teenagers. The room was small but the location made up for it. It is a 15 min walk to central Dublin and at the end of the road are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets etc. The breakfast was lovely and the staff friendly. The house is old and well loved but clean and warm.

We recently stayed as a family at the Waterloo lodge, I was a little worried about having all four of us in one room but it actually worked ok. I wouldn't say we had loads of space but it worked out just fine. The breakfast in the morning was lovely. Although the B&B isn't in the centre of the city there is a bus stop straight outside the entrance or u could walk it in about 15mins. Just at the end of the road there are restaurants, bars and shops if you don't want to venture into the city every night

Stayed here for about 3 weeks when working nearby. A very pleasant place to stay. An easy, direct 5-10 minute walk from the air-coach bus stop. The staff were very friendly and welcoming on arrival and during my stay and that didn't change during the course of my stays. The breakfast was excellent, with the toast cooked extra as I like it when I asked for it. It's outside the city centre, but there are plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and bars nearby at the end of the road. I'd recommend checking out the 51 Bar, still only half a mile away. It was undergoing some refurbishment, but the effect of that was minimal. Lansdowne road is probably only a 15 -20 minute walk away if you're over for the rugby. If I was being very picky then sometimes the electrical items and sockets weren't always in a great location for use and the front rooms could suffer from a bit of road noise if you're a light sleeper like me. Overall though, I would have no hesitation using this place again if I'm ever in the area again.

Room Tip: Try to avoid a room at the front of the hotel.

This is a very nice B&B in a very good location. The access to central Dublin was quick and simple. Great welcome, clean, comfortable and well equipped room and, of course, the full Irish breakfast set me up for the day :). Hope I'll stay there again.

We had a great time at Waterloo Lodge. It has great value for money. Excellent breakfast, Irish and continental, you can choose whatever you like. The rooms were warm and cosy. The team was very friendly and helpful. The situation is good since you can walk to the city center and the neighborhood is pretty nice. It is worth choosing it for your accommodation.
