I spose you are in the middle of it all.. but there was a pub/club next door and the music was thumping until 2am and then you hear everyone outside afterwards. The rooms are just ok. They did have any roof lights? just lamps.
The shower was bad.. it basically pee'd on you. Was meant to stay another night but cancelled it the next morning and stayed somewhere else.
might be ok if you're a good sleeper - take ear plugs. Service was ok tho.. so that's something.
anhd i paid very little for the room.. but you get what you pay for and then some.

We stayed in this hotel mid week to attend a concert. Lovely staff on reception. Room was lovely and very comfortable bed. Didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on that. Location was excellent. Would definitely return.

AVOID: I had the misfortune of experiencing the worst customer service I have ever encountered at recent night out at this establishment. Obnoxious, boorish staff who do not pass even the lowest standards needed for a hotel. This hotel is well located which is its only redeeming feature. The attempts at 'shabby chic' in its interior styling only succeed in the shabby part. Plenty of decent alternatives hotels and guesthouses in the immediate vicinity so just don't bother.

Great location in Dublin. Super convenient and right in the heart of the city. Great access to everything. All 5 minute walk away, unless you are going to the bars next to hotel down the alley (Stags Head, Dames). WOW, the party never stops, literally. UP ALL NIGHT until 4am. SO SO SO loud. Not a place t stay if you want peace and quiet. Rooms were fine.

Room Tip: Keep away from the alley way/avenue towards Temple cut thru.

thank you for taking time to write this review. Our official website infact states that we are 30 minutes away from the airport, I have also checked other sites and cant find any that says we are 10 mins away. Good idea to get rid of the rental car as you say we dont have parking but we recommend Drury Street Underground Carpark for those who wish to keep their car during their stay in Dublin.

Sorry that you experienced noise but this is outside our control, if you had advised us that you had problems sleeping we would have moved you to a quiter part of the hotel, as with all city centre hotels in any part of the world noice can be an issue on weekend nights. If you wish to come back and visit us again be sure to contact us direct and you can be assured of a quite room.

We stayed here at the end of our 1 week Ireland trip, and actually got rid of the rental car before arriving to the hotel. Great idea as this hotel is SO centrally located you have no need for a car! Plus, the hotel does not have parking facilities. [note: the official website says the hotel is a 10 min. drive from the airport... not so. On a Thursday late afternoon it took about 1/2 hr., traffic was busy, and then Sat. morning with no traffic it still took about 25 min.]

For a hotel in Europe and in the city center, we were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room! It was huge! It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, plenty of storage should you need it. No complaints there. Also the bathroom was huge, and also very clean. There was no shampoo nor toothpaste, we had fortunately brought our own. However there was a sign saying they could supply you with things you forgot. I don't know if they charge for that. Also, as with any hotel we've stayed in in Europe, no washcloths/face cloths so bring your own if you need them. There was free wifi and it worked perfectly in the room.

Now the downside to being so centrally located is that you can hear all the noise from the pubs. I can sleep thru' anything so it wasn't really an issue for me, however it was more of an issue for my husband. He didn't sleep well either night. Also, it was a tad warm in the room but we didn't dare open a window, the noise would have been worse.

We did not eat at the hotel at all, with all the places nearby we figured why?! We did have a beer at the famous Library Bar... always seemed to be fairly busy there.

Overall I would say if you can stand the noise, this IS the best location! You can walk just about everywhere and we felt quite safe.

Room Tip: Recently they added double glazing to some of the windows, I'd ask for a room with that and away...

Unfortunately the only positive thing to say about this hotel is the location, but it's not worth it to stay here, There are plently of hotels in the area within the same price range. Negatives: 1- the hotel is near a popular bar area so from about midnight until 3-4am it was very loud with patrons leaving the bars. 2- The water pressure in the shower was so bad I could barely rinse the shampoo out of my hair 3- overall run down appearance of the room. Fortunately we were only staying one night and the rate was reasonable but I would not return.
