I thought i was a lovely Hotel with friendly staff but some other people with kids thought differently. All kids had to be out of the Bar at a certain time which was most inconvenient . And the price of drink !!! I was on Business so i was not drinking so i ordered Cidona , and then he came out with Sparkling Apple Juice and Charged me something like €5 .

Room Tip: Go the the '' Four Seasons Hotel '' across from it :P

I stayed at this hotel for a recent business trip and found it to be excellent value at 79 euros a night including breakfast. I dined on the 'early bird' menu which was three courses for 25 euros before seven o'clock. The food was of a generous portion and very tasty indeed. I thought the bar and restaurant appealing and stylish. My room was fine, what one would expect of a three star hotel but certainly more than acceptable. I travel a lot on business and am not easily impressed by hotels but I was by this one and thought it deserved a positive review.

i my wife and my 3 year old son booked a 2 night stay here , never never again will i ever stop here , from start to beginning this place is just a shambles , long check in time with2 members of staff really under pressure on reception gregg and who booked us in was quick and efficient as was the other receptionist , our family room was small and crampt with a nicotine smell this was a none smoking room so we opened the window and headed to the lounge to relax for a short time my wife and son went first as i had to wait in a line for reception again to see if i could change rooms , i gave up after 10 mins and went to join my family in the bar it was 4 oclock and not really busy , i waited at the bar for 5 mins before the barman and waiter appeared from a back room , with the young waiter saying " yeah the women on table 8 is a right b**** " at this point i did not realise he meant my wife , i got a pint of lager and joined my family ,
we tried to order some food at the bar and was abrubtly told to sit down and he would come over to us this again must have took 10 minutes ? , my wife asked for the tv to be turned down and for him to wipe the table as it was beer stained , his reply was "ok ok " he turned his back and muttered an expletive of " f*** sake " at this point we felt like we were not welcome in the hotel bar where we were staying i settled the bill for table 8 , this behaviour makes me very angry and not to cause a commotion we left to eat in belucci pizzeria and pasta where the waiters do not insult your family and are not called mark
still i have been afforded an explanation from this hotel and at this point i dont want one
BEWARE THE SMELLY ROOMS AND THE AND THE WAITER

I only stayed at the Bewley as I was booked in there for a conference as I would usually stay somewhere central in Dublin. It looked good on the website and from outside, but was disappointing inside. The room was okay, if a bit bland and tired, with the whole hotel looking a bit dull. The only meal I had there was breakfast which was self service - lots of choice but the cooked breakfast was nothing special, just the usual fare kept warm for too long. The choice in the hot breakfast was limited compared with many other hotels - only scrambled eggs for example. The bar area downstairs looks dated.
The location may be great for the RDS nearby but not ideal for the city centre and I can't imagine I would choose to stay here again. I have only once before stayed in a Bewleys Hotel which was at Manchester airport and this was better but that is not saying a huge amount.
