We stayed here for two nights mid October 2012. We had a family room which was big enough for four of us. Bar has a great atmosphere although children have to be out by 10pm. The buffet breakfast was adequate. Overall good value for money.

This big hotel, was clean and looked lovely from the outside...breakfast was all you could eat and
the staff were friendly...we went to the city and got a cab costs around 11 euro...no pool at this hotel but they were charging on average 115 per night and parking is 10 euro a night extra!! which i thought was a bit cheeky..I wouldnt say anything special about the hotel...it is just a hotel near dublin city 11 euros near....

Visited this hotel for the carvery lunch recently - it was very average and when we started to eat it realised that it was lukewarm.

The staff were very friendly and it is very convenient for the RDS but food would need to improve.

It has been 4 years since we last stayed in this hotel; but I can clearly mention that it was very comfortable. It was a business visit and we stayed for a week. The hotel is not very close to the city center; but there are too many transport options available. The personel in the hotel are very kind and helpful. The rates are reasonable.

Room Tip: Cheap, clean, offerdable.

Our stay at Bewleys Ballsbridge certainly met our expectations. We liked the appearance and setting of the hotel, as well as, the location with its proximity to restaurants, the DART and reasonable taxi ride to the center of town. The breakfast buffet was standard and the rooms and common area were clean and well maintained. We would definitely consider staying here again.

One of our treats, when staying at this conveniently placed hotel, was dinner in O'Connels restaurant in the hotel. We slummed the first night of the three day MBS show and decided to treat ourselves to a decent dinner last Sunday.
My wife and I both had Prawn with Chili and Ginger and were impressed with the quality and the size of the portions, thinking it boded well for the main course of Lamb Chops. The portions were, indeed, large but the quality was at the bottom end of the scale. Was it Lamb or was it Mutton? Whatever it was, it was inedible.
Sadly, one more to cross off our list.

We had booked to stay for 2 nights over the bank hol wkend.Things didn't get off to a good start when our first encounter was with a very rude obnoxious female receptionist. Her manner&the way she spoke to guests left alot to be desired! The room was very basic but clean.Next morning room cleaners created a serious noise in the hall from about 9am onwards. One tried to enter our room at 9.30, didnt knock just opened the door.We were staying a second night & even if that wasn't the case checkout is at 12.We then put out a do not disturb sign & AGAIN at 12 noon sharp a cleaner again didnt knock & just opened the door. So much for a leisurely lie in on a Sunday morning. When we did leave our room for the day about 1pm, we left out the please "service our room" sign & there was cleaning cart still in the corridor. Guess what we returned that evening , our room hadnt been cleaned! We had no clean towels (you get 2) & hardly any toliet roll left. Truly stay somewhere else, there is far cheaper, much more pleasant places to stay in Dublin City.
