Like others were a bit concerned about the negative reviews but having stayed in this fine old hotel, we can only think others have unrealistic expectations or the hotel has changed drastically. Our triple room was big enough for a double bed, sofa bed and single bed, ample and very clean if a little dated. We were delighted to have a really strong free wi-fi signal which meant the 15 year old was kept happy in the evenings. Great routes into town, either from bus stop outside or 5 minute walk to Dart station. Didn't eat in the hotel but enjoyed a couple of halves in the bar which was busy. Hotel let us check out late and took care of our bags until late on the last day, aircoach stops right outside. A great weekend with helpful staff in a good hotel - we will go back.
