Excellent location, discounted parking, WIFI, friendly staff, very clean bedroom and ensuite (amazing shower!), spacious lounge and kitchen area. In the hub of it all. Great 3euro breakfast option.
Had a free Irish dancing lesson too!

Room Tip: Don't use the oven - takes waaaaay too long too cook.

The hostel is conveniently located at the center of the city where most of the touristy spots are, and is what 3 friends traveling on a budget was looking for. It was close to bars and restaurants. The staff tried to be as friendly as possible and helped us get to certain areas conveniently.

Rooms:
We stayed in a shared room with 4 beds, but I suspect it use to be 8 beds because with 2 bunk-beds, there was ample floor space for us to goof around. The sheets were clean and the room was warm.

Something extra:
Maybe it is my lack of European hostel experience, but I really enjoyed the activities that had in the evening. Each day was different. Throughout our stay, We had free dinner, free drinks and live music, and free Irish dancing lessons.

Setbacks:
Another reviewer complained about the creaky floors. This I found annoying, especially when people are returning to their rooms at 3 or 4am and are waken from the noise.

How to get there:
If you are getting there from Dublin Airport, you can take bus 16 or 41 and stop at O'Connell Street.

I've been a great stay in this hostel. The shared female rooms is good, the beds is ok and the ensuite bathroom is excellent. Linens are clean. The central heating works perfectly and the bedroom is cozy. And every night there is meeting at 8 o'clock, wine and cheese, or free dinner.. It's amazing for meet new friends!

Stayed here for a night while in dublin - staff was friendly, rooms were clean, location was ideal (steps away from o'connell street). I would recommend this hostel for anyone on a budget or anyone who simply wants to meet new people!

The Good: Staff was super cool, and the hostel is really close to buses, O'Connell St., and a short walk to Temple Bar. You also have to use a key card at the main entrance and your room.

The Bad: This place is falling apart. The carpet is DISGUSTING, and you could feel the floorboards underneath. It almost felt like I was going to fall through the floor. The thin walls let in all the noise from the corridor and the bar across the alleyway, so if you don't have earplugs or sleep like a rock, you'll be miserable. The shower room was hard to use - no hooks or shelves to hold any of your stuff, and no power outlets to use a hair dryer. The bunk beds were on flimsy metal frames, so if you or your bunk mate move, your both feel it. No lockers in the room....so you could either take your chance and leave your stuff around, or drag is all the way back downstairs to the front desk. Also, the entrance to the hostel is in an alley, and the sign is not very clear.

I would definitely not stay here again. The whole venue definitely needs an upgrade.

This backpackers is located just by O'Connell St, one of the main avenues in Dublin.
The place is ok. Rooms are very simple and bathrooms might use a little upgrade.
The reception and the service is excellent though, very friendly and nice.
But the best of this backpackers is the breakfast, included in the price. With fruits, cereals, ham, eggs... and even pancakes the day we were there.
An average place, recommended for being in the city center and close to Temple Bar.

Good points: staff are wonderful and friendly. Nice big kitchen, nice living space, great location, very close to the city centre.
Bad points: the room was so hot, stuffy and busy we found it nearly impossible to sleep! The bedroom window had no curtain to block out light, and the window opens onto a very noisy street below right next to a busy karaoke pub! Nightmare! The bathroom was quite unclean, very shabby shower room.

Room Tip: I don't know if any of the other rooms would be quieter than ours but it might be worth seeing i...
